Been to the various P&V La Falaise apartments every year for last few years. There are a number of different apartment blocks at the entrance to Avoriaz under the overall La Falaise banner. The resort is superb and is car-free. Great runs and brilliant for snowboarding, learning to ski and for families. There is not a great choice of accomodation... more

Confusingly, this property was referred to as the Balcons de Soleil apartments on various websites - including Pierre et Vacances', but when we got there there was no reference to this name at all. I have stayed here twice for long weekends snowboarding. the property is fairly basic but in a superb location. The rooms are basic but clean, we had the family room on the 1st floor last time and it was very spacious. Stayed here 1 year ago (see review) and returned this year. This time was put in KOURIA block. Small open plan room with 1 bunk bed, 2 sofas and one pull out bed, so could sleep 5.
