Stayed here 5 nights with my son while visiting the Arras battlefields. Arras is 20 minutes away. This is a wonderful B&B fully deserving 5* for the breakfast alone. Called Le Petit Déjeuner in France, this should be renamed Le Grand Déjeuner! Everything is locally sourced or homemade. My son loved the smoked trout. I loved the breads and jams.... More

The host is charming, very friendly. He runs a lovely B&B - comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are plentiful and fresh. But you MUST stay for dinner. We had the "classique" dinner, and I'm not sure what magic he does to create a "gourmet" dinner - but it must be fabulous. Phillippe is proud to use local ingredients - some... More

Lovely Hosts. excellent breakfast with many products made by the hosts or sourced locally. Lovely garden. Phillipe assisted with our bookings for dinner and tourist attractions. The underground tunnels were really worth a visit.Fully recommend.

What a lovely place for an overnight stay ! Philippe and Patricia Rousseau are wonderful hosts. Food is good and very locally sourced - a lot of the fruit and summer vegetables from their own garden. Our room was small but perfectly comfortable. We woke fully refreshed, to enjoy a generous breakfast, with superb coffee !

Our trip to France always aims to take in this wonderful place and this time for 2 nights - we would have stayed longer but for the hosts own holidays. It remains our favourite B+B for evening meal food - Philippe's authentic top class cooking is worth the visit alone - his pleasure is cooking with the best ingredients he... More

This house is in a quiet village close to Arras. We were going to Thiepval the following day but it would be ideal for a stop over driving south in France. The owners are delightful and their English was fine to make ourselves understood. There is parking on the drive. The room had an en suite bathroom and was comfortable... More

This was our final stop before returning home from the South of France. We were made to feel most welcome by Phillipe and Patricia who served us with cold drinks in their lovely garden. We had asked if we might have an evening meal, I'm so glad we did. Phillipe cooked a fabulous three course dinner served with an excellent... More

We chose Les Volets Bleus because of its proximity to the Vimy Memorial and other WW I sites near Arras, but we would return for the exceptional hospitality of Philippe and Pat. Les Volets Bleus is, indeed, a Bed and Breakfast, and the breakfast is outstanding. Philippe sets out an excellent buffet, which he takes care to "introduce"; in our... More

We had a great overnight here during a trip in September. Found on the web, we realised that evening meals at Les Volets Bleus were something of a specialty but still it was a pleasant surprise to have quite such delicious food so well prepared and presented. Breakfast was a wonderful spread too. The house is lovely and filled with... More

As many have already included in their reviews, Phillipe and Patricia were amazing hosts. I booked this last minute based on reviews and they couldn't do enough to accommodate. Patricia even collected me from the train station, having advised me of the train timetable schedule and where she would be waiting for me. They were more than happy to drop... More
