Had a biking holiday with some friends and had one night in Saint Omer. The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance of the busy town square and restaurants. Rooms were clean, light and airey. Basic bathroom with good shower. Bed was very comfortable ensuring a good sleep. Typical continental breakfast was excellent. Most importantly for us,being on motorbikes,... More

This was the first trip to France for my wife and I and set ourself a fairly low budget and short travel time. St Omer and Hotel St Louis fit both of those nicely. We arrived early so spoke to the (presumed) owner, the male half of the partnership. He was friendly enough and allowed us to park in the... More

I love staying at the St Louis either at the start or the end of a holiday in France. It is just a short drive away from the Eurotunnel. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms always look bright and fresh and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is reliably good, with a nice selection of regional specialities. We've... Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff, clean, comfortable, quiet, very secure parking within a large courtyard which is locked at night. Good continental breakfast at an early hour. Found the hotel very easily. Will stay here again

Clean and comfortable, in good decorative order with private off road parking. Quiet are with no noise after hours. Stayed overnight on the way to greater France. Staff very friendly, good breakfast and value. Close to the centre (not as close as we usually stay) about a 10min stroll from the centre.

Hidden in the ancient back streets of this wonderful town, you will find this charming hotel that I and my family have been staying at for the past 20years. Just half an hours drive from Calais, this hotel proves an excellent jumping off place for a touring holiday of France. The hotel is privately owned and run to a high... More

The bedrooms are fairly modern, a bit small and very clean. Lovely crisp white sheets and soft towels. We had a good continental breakfast, the croissants and bread were excellent. We had dinner on two evenings and the food was very good. The hoteliers were very friendly and helpful and it was a boon to use their car park. There... More

As a foursome we visit St Omer at least twice a year and always stay at the Saint Louis due, mainly, to the hospitality of the hosts, and its closeness to the centre ville (easy walking distance), the Saturday market and the restaurants. Our stay is always a pleasant one and we recommend the hotel very highly. I, personally, have... More

This is a great hotel. It is very close to the town centre which has many attractions. Restaurants and bars. We were wine shopping and it is a nicer place to stay than callis. The hotel has good chef and the evening meals are worth staying in for. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable, the owners work hard to offer... More

A very pleasant hotel, it is conveniently located close to the town centre where there is a market on Saturday morning. Room was nice and clean but rather basic. Breakfast was a selection of cheese, meats, pastries and fruit. You do have to go up an external staircase after 9.30 pm but it is very accessible. Saint Omer is a... More
