Hotel Saint Louis is lovely. The room was bright and airy and had a very nice en-suite with a good shower. They had set up the cot for us which was fantastic and little one had a very good night's sleep. The food in the restaurant (at dinner and breakfast) was delicious and everyone was so friendly. A wonderful stay,... More

We were making what has become a regular visit to the town, and decided on the St.Louis again. We found it as good as ever with a nice welcome and the usual good room on the annexe facing the garden and car park. Easy and safe parking, a clean and comfortable room, who could want anything more ? We did... More

We wanted a one night stop on our way south. Our bedroom was small but had everything we needed including excellent reading lights. We had a well cooked dinner and the staff were friendly. We thought the hotel represented good value for money.

Small rooms with dated decor and furnishings. Restaurant not open so alas we are unable to comment. Staff were brusque and not welcoming. Breakfast was sad and totally lacklustre. Acceptable only if no other options are available.

this was a last minute decision but one of my best. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food was Michelin quality and excellent value. This is a must for anyone wanting a relaxing break and can be enjoyed by both couples and families. A definite returnee. I was surprised at Rambler 2331 and... More

We have often stayed at this hotel and have found the owners to be very helpful, pleasant and welcoming and NOTHING like the insulting write-up penned by Rambler 2331. We would never think to partake of our own food or drink in a hotel's private area, so certainly would expect to be questioned on this if we were to do... More

The hotel is rated only as a 2-star, but I was quite happy with my accommodation for the 2 nights whilst I visited the local sites. Yes, there are some odd rules, like the fact that the hotel has opening times: 7.30am until 9.30pm (although, in fact, I think that may be 9pm!). I has secure car parking - at... More

Had a biking holiday with some friends and had one night in Saint Omer. The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance of the busy town square and restaurants. Rooms were clean, light and airey. Basic bathroom with good shower. Bed was very comfortable ensuring a good sleep. Typical continental breakfast was excellent. Most importantly for us,being on motorbikes,... More

This was the first trip to France for my wife and I and set ourself a fairly low budget and short travel time. St Omer and Hotel St Louis fit both of those nicely. We arrived early so spoke to the (presumed) owner, the male half of the partnership. He was friendly enough and allowed us to park in the... More

I love staying at the St Louis either at the start or the end of a holiday in France. It is just a short drive away from the Eurotunnel. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms always look bright and fresh and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is reliably good, with a nice selection of regional specialities. We've...
