Having read some very contradictory views of the hotel,i wasn't sure what to expect. Glad to report that we were two of those that had a great experience at the St.Louis. A warm welcome from a charming gentleman who explained the parking both on the street or in his private car park, before taking us to our room. This was situated... More

Group of six on a post motor racing weekend trip. Chosen because of secure parking and location. Maybe looks a little jaded externally but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Decor slightly old fashioned but in keeping with the style of a typical French provincial hotel. Good restaurant and excellent food. Proprietors very helpful and costs reasonable. No complaints at... Had been here 15 years earlier in transit during our honeymoon. This time came with 2 young children. How it's deteriorated. Over €140 for a family room with very basic breakfast. Won't come again. Desperately needs an update from 1980s decor. We've paid much less for much better in France. Owner looks like she needed to retire; so does the... More

I always enjoy using the St Louis as a stopover on the way home - it provides a nice end to the holiday. We had a lovely, warm welcome on arrival. The rooms are clean, fresh and pretty. The food in the restaurant was great and we were given excellent advice on the wine. Always a real pleasure to stay... More

typical logis. good secure off street parking, rooms comfortable, corridors to the rooms a little worn. Very good evening meal freshly cooked in the hotel restaurant. If you want standard fare hotel rooms go to an Ibis, if you want something a little different, and good value for a stopover, then come here. Handy for a walk into the town... More

We stayed here for two nights, a family of 3 adults and 3 children under 7 years old. We were split between two bedrooms a corridor length apart. The bedrooms were fine however there was a lot of running backwards and forwards between mum & dad's room and our room which must have been noisy for other guests. Each room... More

This is a family run 'Logis de France' hotel, originally a coaching inn. We were given a quiet but friendly welcome, and enjoyed a room overlooking the central small garden and courtyard. A wonderfully quiet location, away from the central square and town traffic. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom. It is an easy walk from the... More

On arrival we were greeted without warmth by Madame Laurent, the proprietor. She informed us that as the following day was a bank holiday the bar and restaurant was closed and the hotel would be closed from 21.30h until 07.30h the following morning. To leave/enter the hotel during this period you had to use a keypad on the garage door... More

A nice traditional hotel only an hour or so from Calais, which makes it an ideal stop-over. It has it's own small car park, which is secure and locked over night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. It is in a good location for the centre of St Omer, which has plenty of... More

We have stayed here on and off for years. The Hotel is very basic with small beds (but ok) but the main reason is we don't have to unload the car. The car park is safe and secure and locked at night. Dinner was excellent with foie gras pate and veal with potatoes au gratin.
