We chose this hotel to break up our car journey from the North West of England to the Dordogne, both there and back. We had our Cavalier Pooch with us. What a magnificent little find this hotel is. The food is lovely, it is quiet and relaxed and a really beautiful setting. We are planning to return on our next... More

We stayed for one night with our dog and found the room we had which was a little wooden chalet across from the Hotel to be perfect. We just had to step out the door to be outside to walk him and the Hotel has a very nice Bar and Restaurant with Jenlain Beer on draught very nice. The meal... More

Love staying at this hotel and it never disappoints! Run by a lovely couple who make you feel at home and are always friendly and attentive. Rooms are not trendy, but are comfortable and clean, with nice personal touches. There are rooms in the main hotel and also separate chalet-type rooms, just outside. I've stayed in both, but prefer being... More

We enjoyed another stop off on way home, as we have done now for over 25 years. Lodge rooms are a little tired we would agree, but they offer very spacious, clean and warm accommodation. Quiet location with lovely views towards St Omer with lots of parking space. The food is still of very good quality and we are always... More

Very nice hotel. We had a lodge room and it was quiet and comfortable. Sadly the stay was spoilt by the lack of customer service from most of the staff. The only one who was outgoing and approachable was a younger waiter. He was great. Sadly the other two staff members we saw were uncommunicative, unsmiling, and downright rude at... More

I’m guessing this is more of a one night hotel as it’s in the middle of now where, which is a shame as it is an excellent hotel, the chalet rooms next to the hotel all though not over soundproofed were great, rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful but best of all was the... More

We have stayed at La Sapiniere many times as it is so convenient, either on arrival at Calais or returning to the port. It is 5 minutes from the A26 and about 4 miles from St. Omer. It takes about half an hour to get to Calais (tunnel) and we prefer to stay away from the port area. The rooms... More

We have just returned from an eight day break staying at this hotel. We can only praise the hotel accommodation, food and staff friendliness, who couldn't do enough for you. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as you would not fail to chill out and be spoilt

We stayed here a couple of nights on our annual golf trip, having also done Hardelot and Le Touquet on other trips. We found it a very viable alternative. Rooms are basic and a bit small - but clean and comfortable nonetheless. Where the hotel excels is in its restaurant. Super, inexpensive, quality French food. Prix fixe menus from €30... More

Very convenient hotel for Calais. This was our last night of a 12 day trip to the Italian Lakes. A nice hotel with large rooms in the 'chalet' style annexes. Evening meal was an absolute treat, beautifully cooked by, I think, the owner. Breakfast was great too, with a good choice of food and French bread to die for. All... More
