The house is beautiful, not overly grand but much loved, set in lovely gardens. The rooms are large and well decorated. Sylvie and Pierre cooked dinner for us even though they had been at a wedding that day - very grateful. It was delicious food in very relaxing atmosphere. Good access to eurotunnel. Tip: make sure you take toiletries as... More

We discovered this chambre d'hôte last year and have now stayed four times. If you cross the Channel from the UK and you need a break before continuing your journey, you will find this an excellent location, as it is just about half an hour from Calais or Boulogne-sur-Mer. Likewise, it would be worth staying for some days in order... More

Thursday 12th February 2015. One night stay. An imposing manor house from the outside; inside it is more family home than hotel in the public areas. A spiral staircase takes you to the first floor, and then a steepish set of stairs to the second floor where we were. No room names (or keys). Our room was to the left... More

We were a group of four, two singles and a couple. I got a room on the 1st floor, with a fantastic view of the garden. It had great clean accommodations and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was a variety of bread and jams, and some hot coco, coffee and orange juice. The hosts Sylvie and Pierre were very nice, and... More

We spent a night here with friends. We stayed on the top floor. Our double room was spacious and stylishly decorated. The gardens are beautiful and you can sit outside if you want. Le Manoir is situated in a quiet village and is surrounded by very pretty countryside and is only about 30 minutes from Calais. Our continental breakfast was... More

We had the pleasure of spending a night in this lovely Manoir following a trip to Champagne. Attentive and discreet hosts, beautiful clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Best of all though was dinner that evening, taken in the charming dining room. Lovely home cooked food and French wine. Will hopefully return again sometime. Merci beaucoup!

The rooms have recently been refurbished and are of a very high standard. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms very modern. the gardens were beautiful with a gorgeous blossom tree. The hosts were more than helpful and very pleasant. We ate there one evening and really enjoyed the food and their home-made aperitif., It was a quick 30... More

A wonderful building - one of the most spectacular historical buildings I have ever stayed in, a labour of love by the hosts. Very comfortable and modern bathrooms. Sylvie was helpful in addressing our needs but gave us plenty of space and time. Breakfast was a selection of breads and a hot drink. It was an easy drive to Bologne,... More

Myself, my husband and our 3 month old baby stayed with Sylvia and Pierre for 5 nights late last summer. The Manoir is very French, and in a lovely quiet rural location. Sylvie recommended days trips for us; Brugge is about an hour away and we visited Carriere Wellington, a WW1 site with an interesting tour. We also had an... More
