Booked this place based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The suites are really spacious and it was nice to have this small kitchen at our disposal. The breakfast features everything one needs. The service they offer to drive you to the local restaurants is a brilliant idea. Caroline the manager is a gem, I can confirm that. The... More

We recently stayed for a week at Hotel Kanzel. It exceeded our expectations. The unit we stayed in was really more an apartment than a hotel room. There was a kitchen (which we didn't use except for the refrigerator), a living room, a bedroom , a large bathroom and both a large bathtub and a shower. There was also an... More

We arrived to this residence due to the great reviews that we read about it.... and we are joining with a warm recommendation. First of all Caroline the manager is very kind, helpful, and is doing the best she can to make sure that everything is perfect for the guests.... The place is beautiful with a great view of the... Very nice fully equipped studios/apartments that can sleep up 6 adults, beautiful location at the edge of Beblenheim, close to Riquewhir, Mittelwhir, Zellenberg, close-enough to Colmar. Appartments and breakfast lounge have a little balcony. Heated outside swimming pool that is closed of summer period I think. Breakfast was excellent : nice selection of breads, croissants and chocolate croissant, cheeses, wursts,... More

What a beautiful location - set right in the vineyards. Ours was a quaint room looking out onto the garden, and separated from the swimming pool by a hedge. It was much more than a hotel room with separate lounge room, compact kitchen, and huge bathroom - had quite a cosy, home feeling. Breakfast was served in the first floor... More

[On my scale this is a 3.5-stars hotel. Price is fair.] We traveled through Alsace wine country together with 3 more couples, and stayed for three nights at Kanzel Hotel in adjacent lower-level "studios". Good location at the edge of Beblenheim, close to Riquewhir, Mittelwhir, Zellenberg, close-enough to Colmar. Caroline & Sonia were very friendly through the reservation, check-in, checkout... More

This hotel will not get many points for their interior decorating, however the service and comfort could not be better. Excellent restaurant recommendations -both within walking distance as well as in the near by villages. The complimentary shuttle will take you there and pick you up, so you can have that glass of wonderful Alsacian wine with dinner. This hotel... More

We found Hotel Kanzel through a website aimed at gay travellers in the Alsace (visiting rural areas, you want to make sure you're welcome and avoid unpleasant surprises at check-in). Beblenheim has always been one of my favourite villages in the area. It's conveniently located near all the hot spots, but very quiet. Hotel Kanzel is located just outside the... More

Hotel is not a hotel in the traditional sense. Apartotel would be more appropriate, as the majority of it consists of apartments, with kitchenettes. Everything is finished to very high standards with great beds, comfortable couches and even books for reading. Appliances like TV's and refrigerators are from renowned brands which reflects the overall standard of the hotel. Staff is... More

Stayed two nights in a large and well equipped family suite with a huge and fantastic bathroom and a nice balcony. However the apartment somehow lacked atmosphere. Sleeping comfort not OK. Especially kids sleeping area upstairs was very hot during night due to no A/C (strange!). Windows could not be opened during night due to a noisy road just beneath... More
