This we a great value for the money. We stayed in the Explorer Suite and really liked the room. They had some cute touches throughout the place. They are 30 minutes from the south entrance of the park, but never having been there before I didn't realize that it was still another hour from there to the valley. We spent... More

My husband and I wanted to get away for Thanksgiving weekend and were able to book the Sunrise Suite just a week in advance. The reservation was easy and the innkeeper, Brenda is friendly and helpful and on the phone. Check in was also a breeze - you use a code to get your key, so no waiting around once... More

Stayed here 2 days and visited Yosemite - accom in Yosemite was very pricey - stayed in the sunrise room which was the largest B&B room I have seen, gave us plenty or room to spread out! Room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The hosts gave us instructions on where to go in the park and... More

We booked a one night stay at the Sierra Mountain Lodge after four days of hiking and three straight nights of sleeping in a two man backpacking tent (which I love). As we drove through the town of Oakhurst, and headed up toward Ahwahnee, I really did not know what to expect. What we found was charming - more lodge-like... More

We ended up staying here because we couldn't get any closer to Yosemite. Frankly, I was kind of glad we did because I really liked this place. The owners were helpful and organized and the location was quiet with nice, rather than spectacular, views where you could watch the sunset. Breakfast was in a spacious dining room and there was... We found this bed and breakfast to be a very relaxing and comfortable during our 4 night stay. The hosts were extremely helpful in planning our daily trips to Yosemite. The breakfasts were delicious. The wi-fi worked very well on our iPad and we would recommend this place to others. More

Clean, spacious, comfortable bed, with "kitchen" & DVD player & Tv. Beware - the US DVD would not play our UK DVD - even though they were new & bona fide. Shared veranda had limited view due to tall trees - but nice to be able to sit outside - but day time only - as the lights on the... More

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. The Sunrise suite was large, clean and comfortable. We came from the Palace Hotel in San Francisco and the Sierra Mountain Lodge was much better to me. Brenda and John were just like having a personal guide to Yosemite. For us it was really just a convenient place to sleep, but... More
