My wife and I stayed at the Grotto Bay from May 8th through May 12th of 2008. It’s located across the bay from the airport, which was only a 5 minute cab ride across the causeway to the resort. Check-in was very easy and painless. Although being so close to the airport, noise was never an issue. The Grotto Bay... more

The Grotto Bay is a nice looking property. The grounds and common areas are lovely. It is hilly so be aware you will be climbing stairs. We found the roosters and chickens roaming the property to be very charming. The amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, and large caves you can swim in for a really unique experience. There... more

i was there for business and stayed at the grotto b/c i couldn't get a room anywhere else. my 1st room was dirty, had a cockroach the size of a cat (i know that this is common on the island but it was disgusting), the rooster was annoying, the location was very inconvenient for me b/c my clients are in... more

Absolutley beautiful, the clerks (Patricia) was more than wonderful. June Ann was excellent in helping us decide what to see and when on the island. The room was clean the bed and pillows comfortable. Great food in the Palm Court Restruant. Gift shop resonable (for Bermuda). The pink and blue is the best and safest way to see the whole... more

We stayed at the Grotto Bay resort March 31-April 4 and despite the weather, the resort stay was pretty nice. We booked an all-inclusive package which was beneficial since it included all the meals, drinks, and bus/ferry transportation however the downfall was that we were always pushing our schedule to get back to the resort during the lunch timeframe in... more

Our family's four night/five day getaway to paradise was cursed by shaky weather from the start. Out of 5 days, we had roughly 1 half day of sunshine, so our plans to bask on the beach and snorkel were unfortunately foiled. The Bermudians, however, were excited to have their wells filled once again! We stayed at Grotto Bay, in one... more

We stayed here for a 3-day long weekend for R&R to get out of the usual rat race and very much enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet (unlike some of the comments), perhaps because of the time of year. We liked the fact that the resort is located on convenient bus lines to Hamilton and St. Georges (we could... more

I had the opportunity to stay at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort in Bermuda for 3 nights in mid March on a travel agent familiarization trip courtesy of the Bermuda Tourism Board. At first, I was a bit disappointed to hear that we were staying at Grotto Bay since I never considered it one of the top hotels in Bermuda... more

Renovations are almost complete in fact the rooms situated directly facing the ocean are now... more

Before arriving, i was a little hesitant because if a few reviews.. but i have no idea what these people were talking about. Grotto bay was the best hotel, and one of the best vacations (right up there with hawaii) the hotel is gorgeous, the view is spectacular, and the rooms are so quaint and comfortable. The caves on site... more
