When someone tells you your boat isn't coming back, it sets a little panic button going! We didnt have a clue where we were going to stay if the hotel was full. Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. No sign of any owners which made it a bit impersonal. It is mean not to include a cooked breakfast with the price of the room as they are not cheap and it is not as if there is a huge choice of eateries nearby. The hotel was ok. Some of the staff were very freindly & helpful, the food was reasonably tasty although expensive. BUT, it was all too sterile, no locals in the bar, no characters, might as well gone self catering. more
