The prices aree worth paying that little extra fro this wee gem of a hotel. The service was excellent the rooms were beautiful, clean and tidy and the communal areas were very relaxing. I'd read a lot about The Colonsay and so had quite high expectations. The situation is wonderful, the staff are helpful but the hotel lacks personality and the food was very very disappointing. I am not sure I would go again to the hotel but I would go back to the island. more

I knew it was going to be a special island when dolphins swam alongside the ferry as we approached the island in the early evening sunshine.
