A convenient overnight halt between Madrid and Toledo and well positioned for seeing both cities as well as the former summer residence of the royal family, Palicio Real de Aranjuez. The town is in the process of redesigning its road lay-out although sign posts had not been up-dated making a journey through the town to the camp-site difficult and confusing.... More

Had a bit of a nightmare finding the site as the town was being redesigned, but no-one had told our sat-nav! Spent one night here. Reception staff were very friendly and said they were trying to get the signposting to the site improved. We were allowed to choose our plot. The showers and toilets were ok (no hand drying facility... More

We've stayed at this site three times, admittedly only for a nights stopover. The staff are multilingual and very courteous. The toilet blocks are a little tired but the one we used was clean and warm (we were travelling in February and March). Access is good from the motorway and we were surprised when we left last time, heading towards... More

Reception was good and efficient. English spoken. Could choose own pitch from a selection. We chose one with water and drainage on which was more expensive again because it was supposed to be bigger (it was no bigger then the one next to it which was cheaper). The toilet facilities were old and not very fresh smelling which was disappointing.... More

This is a nice, friendly site with a good, clean standard of amenities. The pool was certainly heated when I was there. Only drawbacks: the evening barbecue is uneatable tack, there is loud and brainless music from the pool area until 11.00 pm and the central part of the site is occupied by permanent caravans whose owners have built fences... First I have to say that we are Dutch and I have discovered a lot of differences between the Dutch and th Spanish. We needed to go to bed early (22.00) and get up early (7.00). The Spanish, we noticed, do it differently. When we go to bed they go and have dinner and the children stay up at least... More

We stayed at this site from 3rd to 11th September. The site is beautifully clean, good size pitches, beautiful mature trees in a quiet location....that's if you don't go there when the local feria is on! We had five nights of shockingly interrupted sleep as the feria ground is directly accross the river! Apart from that, the staff on reception... More

Large pitches and very clean showers. Small restaurant and shop on site. Short walk via park to the palace and rail station for the train into Madrid. Very quiet late July early August. Staff at reception very helpful and spoke excellent English

The nightwatchman allowed a worker to bring in a car at 7 a.m. but would not allow us to leave; his attitude was rude and arrogant (we speak Spanish). Hardly any shade, swimming pool awfully small for the number of campers/guests.
