“Ok, but would't stay here again”

Have stayed at this hotel just one night for busuness. I choosed it as it is close to the business park (1.5km). It is on outside Madrid and nothing is at walking distance. The hotel is nice and clean, the room was also ok. Breakfast not great but ok. I wouldn't stay here again, I'd probably take an hotel close... More

Both Google Maps and the HI web page have the location wrong. It is on Calle Metalurgia. It is basic, clean and cheap. Driving from Santander to Fuengirola is a big task in one go. It makes sense to stop off and Madrid is a great place to visit. “Good Stop-over”

Driving between Malaga & Santander (605 miles), found the Holiday Inn Express, Alcobendas a good place to stay overnight (340 miles from Malaga). Clean room with crisp cotton sheets & choice of pillows (soft or hard). Good value with breakfast included (£40 through Travel Republic). Only downsides: £11 for secure parking & charge for internet connection.

My stay @ Holiday Inn Alcobendas was quite good. It is a great value for what is offered. Hotel was clean, room was very comfortable, friendly and helpful stuff and the breakfast is really good. What else do you need? it was a perfect stay for that price!

This is your typical HI Express hotel. Seems new inside and the rooms are comfortable, but the location is not optimal for many.
