Spent one night after visiting the historic town of Almagro. The town itself is interesting and well worth seeing. Our guide was very informed and made for our enjoyment. The Parador is a former monastery. It is truly charming with the most hospitable staff and manager, who gave us a thorough tour of the Parador. I highly recommend a visit. More

This Parador was originally a Monastery and a beautiful building. The Town is close but not much there of significance, apart from the Plaza Mayor which is worth a look. This was a good choice for a one night stopover. The rooms were very large and up to Parador standard. More

We endorse the generally excellent comments about this Parador - an interesting historical building around several beautiful small courtyards, situated only 10 minutes walk from the old town centre.
