Lovely hotel very quirky with lots of surprises and little sitting areas. Nice pool area. Breakfast excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Locate right in centre of Almago. Parked in street outside no problem. Staff very friendly. Rooms are comfortable Wifi is good and air con worked a treat.

Only about a block and a half away from the main square in Almagro, this lovely XVI century building in the historic section is a quiet hotel with a central patio where breakfast is served in the morning. It´s not hard to park nearby and there are rooms on the ground floor if you cannot manage steps. There is a... More

I stayed at Casa Grande in July 2013 with my wife and two children (7 and 10), and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. We came to Almagro for just one night so we could attend a play during the famous summer theatre festival, and we really wished we had booked a few more nights. Casa Grande is a delightful,... More

Stayed here for nine nights so we could relax and unwind and also visit the nearby National Parks of De Las Tablas De Damiel and De Las Lagunas De Ruidera. Easy to find using Sat Nav and a free public car park just round the corner. An interesting converted town house, a bit over propped, but with a welcoming atmosphere.... More

It was not easy to find even with GPS, but it was worth the driving around in narrow streets ( with a big car). When you check in, you are "home". The hotel is full of patios, small rooms and "tons of things" on the walls and on the floor. And not one single piece of "junk" anywhere. All rooms... More

Almagro is a small town just outside of Ciudad Real in Castile La Mancha. A charming town with theatrical roots. Hotel Rural Casa Grande is a BEAUTIFUL casa just a street or two away from the amazing Plaza Mayor. Parking is easily found either on the same street or just down the block. Our room had a balcony that overlooked... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone interested in visiting Almagro's main Plazas, especially fantastic location during the annual theater festival. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our rooms. Our standard suite included two bathrooms, a sitting room and a bedroom with a large closet. The patio and pool were very scenic and well-kept,... More

A little gem. Tucked away down a narrow street – very unassuming from the outside but once you enter you realise that the hotel is built round a lovely courtyard with its very own swimming pool and lounging area – fantastic! Very quiet and peaceful. We paid a little extra for a suite – ground floor bedroom which looked out... More

We stayed here for 3 days while touring La Mancha, a lovely hotel in a great location very near to main square and all the bars and restaurants. It was a great base for visiting several other towns/areas etc and a lovely interesting town in it's own right. A great choice of breakfast items, more than enough to set us... More

We stayed one night travelling from Teruel to Vejer de la Frontera. I'd recommend a superior double as the high ceiling and extra space felt great after an ordinary hotel room. Parking was easy, close and free. As with many Spanish residences it looks plain from the outside bit opens into a glorious courtyard. Breakfast was okay but heavy on... More
