From the warm welcome on arrival to the breakfast the following morning, everything was fantastic about Vina Las Torres. We stayed in the pair of rooms opposite reception and between the huge rooms and the space in between them it didn't feel like we're staying in a hotel - much more like an apartment. The swimming pool was an added... More

Have just spent a weekend at this wonderfully relaxing rural retreat enjoying the total peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside and observing the amazing birds that the area is famous for. Jean Pedro was very welcoming and we felt very at home. The gardens are beautiful and the swimming pool was a bonus. Our rooms were on the ground... More

We stayed here for a week as part of a wildlife tour. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is a wonderful building. The room we stayed in was in the tower so had windows on three sides with lovely views. Belen cooked fantastic local meals, adapting them for my vegan wife (a different vegan dinner every night, and... More

You get the feeling that you are being invited into a delightful family home rather than a commercial establishment. Juan Pedro and Belen make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. Vina las Torres is set in beautiful countryside just 10km from Trujillo and very close to excellent roads and great bird watching areas. The room we had... More

Small family run rural hotel situated a few miles outside Trujillo and close to excellent roads for access to the brilliant birding to be had in Extremadura. Juan Pedro and his wife Belen were unobtrusive but attentive hosts and Belen produces truly excellent local style meals. We were on an organised trip, however Juan Pedro has good knowledge of birding... More

Lovely family run small rural hotel in a great bird watching region. Not far away were Spanish Imperial Eagles, Black Shouldered Kites and large numbers of Cranes and Bustards. The otter was a real treat. Very attentive hosts who serve excellent local food. Unusual architecture adds to the enjoyment.

Recently stayed at this wonderful guesthouse on a birding trip. The owners were great and we felt welcome as soon as we walked through the gate. The rooms were great and we got some wonderful birding information from Juan Pedro on where to find the regional specials. Wished we could have stayed here for a couple more nights.

We stayed at Vina las Torres for 5 nights at begin of June. We are birders for passion and so is Juan Pedro, the hotel owner, who gave us many good recommendations for places to find interesting birds. And there are many, even in the surrounding of the hotel as well as in the steppes of Belen (that is not... More
