Trujillo May be small but is perfectly formed, this hotel certainly adds to the ambience of the town. Beautiful old building with a modern minimalistic twist, which suits it perfectly. Excellent breakfast, easy parking, short walk from plaza Major. Nice pool area and the whole place is immaculate.

A fantastic, historic, cloistered building lovingly restored. Centrally located right in town. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. This is a town well worth visiting for its charm and historic significance, and this parador is the icing on the cake. The prices are a very good value. You will not forget your stay here. Memorable.

Our 2nd of 3 different Paradors and unfortunately we weren't particularly impressed. Would have had a warmer welcome from a corpse and despite the room being very nice we just weren't impressed. Maybe we are too fussy but once we had dinner which wasn't of good quality at all we decided to check out the next day. We didn't have... More

The hotel was easy to find and on site parking free if outside. We had arrived here after a long hot journey and found the swimming pool so welcome. The terrace looked out onto the lovely countryside and there were plenty of sun beds to relax on and take in the view. The building itself is a former convent and... More

As amigos de Paradores we have found another gem, set near the plaza major we have been able to walk this old town and sample some excellent wine and food. The parador is an old convent, beautifully laid out, the bedroom was very comfortable with a good size bathroom. One word of warning when having breakfast avoid the coffee which... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Lisbon. We had last stayed here in 1994 and provided us with a memory of a life time. The parador has maintained it's charm over the years and is as enjoyable as ever. The facilities are wonderful and romantic and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The town of... More

We stayed here one night while travelling down through Spain. A former monastery, the parador is of the usual standard with good bar and seating area inside, a smallish pool, a good restaurant, and nice rooms. We ned paradores in England. Instead of repointing ruins we should be rebuilding them and refurbishing them as luxury hotels.

We spent three enjoyable days here despite weather which varied from wet to wetter. The parador is set in a lovely historic buiding, tastefully extended. Our room was in the original section; it was spacious yet cosy. The window was small but that is a feature of the architecture. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space.There... This old monastery is absolutely beautiful. Great location, just leave the car at the hotel and walk everywhere, everything is near. Spacious rooms (which can be cold, an extra blanket or two would have been welcome).
