We were in Trujillo for one night, and our friends wanted us to experience a Parador. Beautiful building, very close to the historical centre of town, and impeccable service. The room (and the bathroom!) was spacious and comfortable, the bed very comfy. Very good breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. We didn't ry the food in the restaurant... More

Like most paradores, this is an interesting old building, with the bonus of being in the heart of a historic town, with both onsite (indoor, paid-for) and available offsite parking; TV and wi-fi work OK; efficient and friendly reception (would not say the same about waiter service in the dining room!); good breakfast. Two downsides: a minor one, is the... More

A lovely building but probably the worst hotel pick of our 10 day fly drive in Andalucia. We wanted a nice end to our tour with a Parador and splashed out on this one but in hindsight ! wish we had plumped for something else. On the plus side there is free secure parking. The room was very big and... More

Dear peewam, Firstly thank you to share your opinion with other tripadvisor users. We take note about your suggestions regarding the wifi network and continue to work to work 100%. A few months ago we installed more wireless for the network to have maximum coverage throughout the hotel. Concerning your comments on soundproofing, we regret to know what happened, if... More

We were just here for one night - not enough to fully appreciate the hotel and the old town. The hotel is just on te edge of the old town with plenty of parking and easy to find. Excellent base for the old city with its castle on the hill. A good breakfast; we also ate dinner in the hotel,... More

We chose to stay here for one night on our drive south. What a great move ! Stunning old convent with very helpful staff. Plenty of gated parking as well. Easy walk into the centre of this very historic town. Room was large and had everything we needed. We were slightly disappointed with dinner but the huge buffet breakfast made... More

The Parador is a converted convent a short walk from the main square. The rooms are located around the cloisters. Ours was in a corner in a elevated position -- maybe the Mother Superior's room ? The old town itself is wonderful with much to explore and there are many restaurants in the square to choose from.

As reviewers have remarked this is a well appointed Parador five minutes from main square. Rooms are good but with little draw space and if you are English you will not find much of interest in the 41 tv channels. Beds comfortable and nice bathroom, room mini bar and safe.Good wi fi means you can get you own entertainment. Breakfast... More

We nearly did not stay here but on talking to a couple in another Parador they said it was not to be missed and they were correct. Located in the town with good parking and access we were well recieved and our room was lovely, the Parador is an old convent and is a place of beauty with quiet outdoor... More

We had only booked this Hotel for one night, something we would regret after arriving, Easy to find with very safe and secure parking, Set in an old convent the whole place was very characterful, the rooms were of typical Parador quality, the staff were friendly, The pool was fantastic especially in the August heat, rooms were quiet as the... Trujillo May be small but is perfectly formed, this hotel certainly adds to the ambience of the town. Beautiful old building with a modern minimalistic twist, which suits it perfectly. Excellent breakfast, easy parking, short walk from plaza Major. Nice pool area and the whole place is immaculate.
