We loved this Parador, it´s secluded historical setting and in particular the lovely atrium-bar, and the breakfast room-chapel. Standards of service, cleanliness, quality, etc are high, as you would expect from a Parador. We had a great stay and really enjoy the character of the location. Would come back again. more

We stopped at Parador de Trujillo for one night, since our trip from Lisbon to Madrid would have been a bit too long for our kid. The Parador is lovely. The old monastery has been beautifully restored, with a nice courtyard and elegant common rooms. Our room was big and clean, with an excellent bathroom. Not our favorite parador. The reception was distinctly unwelcoming, when we asked about the terrace and pool area we were told "Closed", no more! Our room was small compared to others we had during our tour of Spain and the corridors smelt of cooking. I much prefer the Melia Trujillo which we stayed in last year. more
