For our last days in Greece we wanted to spend them at the beach not too far away from Athens and close enough to the airport. Sounio was the obvious choice and Aegeon Beach Hotel seemed appropriate. The nondescript building is right on the beach with crystal clear water, a myriad of sailing and motor boats at anchor in the... More

This is a modern hotel on the beach. Friendly staff, clean and well furnished. Private owner on site asked what he could improve our only suggestion was fit Hospitality Trays in the rooms. Town 3 miles away with choice of restaurants.

Originally we planned to spend one night at this hotel set on the beach below the Temple of Poseidon in Attica Greece but within minutes of booking in we extended our stay by an extra day - our last in Greece for this year. The minimalist design is pleasing and relaxing while still being welcoming. Our room looked out onto... More

what a wonderful place....room was clean, staff were very attentive, beach was right there and clean. the water was so clean you could see your toes at chest deep water. there were two taverna's that had good food. One we went to at night...very romantic....the Temple of Poseidon was lite and made for great ambience. Sad to say we were only... More

A quiet, gorgeous, clean, elegant and fun sanctuary, maybe 45 minutes from Athens airport and one hour to downtown Athens. The hotel is right on the sea, maybe 50 meters from the rooms to the water; lots of umbrellas free for guests on the beach; a clear, close view of Temple of Poseidon; two fish tavernas right next to the... We have stayed in 12 hotels in out\r 26 days vacation including 16 days in Greece. This hotel on the beach on the quiet bay shore with view of the Tample of Posseidon on the top of the hill was one of the best overall. Pros: price ( 130 E/night); nice relaxing location, nice rooms and baths with balcony and... More

We stayed at the Aegeon our last night in Greece. It's perfect because it's a mere 20min. drive to the airport from here. Beautiful hotel and grounds, wonderful staff, hip rooms and style, on the beach and we had a room with a balcony view of the temple! Fantastic. Fantastic. Clear water beach in front of hotel. You can walk... More

We really enjoyed our 4 days stay at the hotel. The position and the services are impeccable. Breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious. We had lunch at the restaurant twice and everything was cooked with love and care. The beach is open also to the public, which makes it a bit crowded during the weekend but the personnel's care and... More

We stayed at this hotel for our annual family vacation (with grandparents and young children) for the second time and I have to say that it is a great hotel, one I would definitely recommend. It has easy access from Athens, since it is only a 40 minutes drive away. The beach, with crystal clear water, is right in front... More

Very good hotel with great service and located close to 2 tavernas. We ate at the hotel restaurant 1 night and a local taverna the next. The hotel restaurant was much better than the other. Yes a bit dearer than usual but so was the taverna. Both had temple views. Good sized tasty meals at the hotel. Breakfast was good... More
