A very nice hotel with terrific lake views. Pleasant breakfast choices. Comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. Good location for a short walk to the shopping center or the bridge on to the island.

We had a second floor room overlooking the lake with a good sized balcony offering great views. The room was a good size although the furniture is a bit ‘Ikea’. It does have an irritating step leading up to the bathroom which can cause expletives if a visit is made in the night. We had dinner (the Fillet Mignon was... More

We stayed here for 4 nights while in town for a Church Convention. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. As far as I can tell, most all of the rooms have a view of the lake. So pretty! I loved the charm of the hotel--simple and comfortable. There's a good WIFI signal. The beds weren't... More

Been here for less than 4 hours and im looking at the second gecko we found on our ceiling. Not to mention my boyfriend being electrocuted from trying to plug his phone in to charge it... rest of the night should be interesting...

My daughter and I spent two nights here, and somehow managed to score a corner room with a balcony right on the lake. It was great. The hotel itself is rather modern, not too atmospheric, and I can't recommend the restaurant for dinner. However, it was clean, the pool was welcome, and it was an easy walk across the bridge... very clean place, walking distance from Flores Island, extremely friendly staff rooms a bit basic ( no fridge) but most of them have a nice view on the lake room and bathroom very clean staff at reception very friendly had to call them one night at midnight, some noisy family still jumping in the pool and shouting I think 11... OK place if you're just passing through and just need a place to rest your head. The construction is new and the materials are very "plastic" and showing a lot of wear. The beds had no mattress pads and the sheets were a very low count and consequently very thin. Beware of the step down from the bath/luggage area....I took... More

Lakeside view is nice, but the hotel is a big box with no charm, and right next to a very loud disco. Staff not particularly friendly, rooms devoid of charm, and hotel caters to families so the under-sized pool is filled with screaming children (if you are a screaming child, you will love this hotel). The only redeeming feature is... More

We stayed there for 2 nights during our visit to Tikal Mayan site. Very helpful staff - everyone spoke competent English (we don't speak Spanish at all). They helped us cancel a tour (Roxy's Tikal tour does not list its phone number - a major hassle), recommended restaurants, arranged transportation, etc. For our early (5 am) bus departure they also...
