Inspect room before you book, NO REFUNDS. I got caught in the scam. Continental breakfast consist of white bread, two type of finger pastries, froot loops, corn flakes, and milk, that's all. Room has huge spider webs at ceiling corners, HBO guide and channel listing indicate HBO, but there is no HBO available. Ironing board in the room but no... More

I stayed at Texas Inn upon my visit to Mexico and was incredibly satisfied with my stay. I felt as if I was right at home. The service and location was perfect. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was good, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling to... More

Nothing real spectacular to make this place stand out from the crowd. But it was cheap enough and the service was good. There was a continental breakfast as well. The location is close enough to shopping but far enough away from traffic for a quiet sleep.ll.

I stayed at the McAllen Homestead for 2 nights while I was in town for business. Everything about the hotel was great; the van driver took me where ever I needed to go, the breakfast was good, the lobby was comfortable, my room was great and everything worked! I especially appreciated the full shower with glass sliding doors; plenty of... More

I stayed at this hotel with my family a couple weeks ago. The hotel is family-friendly and the breakfast is great. The staff was friends and the rooms were large and clean. I would stay here every time I come to McAllen, I recommend this hotel to my friends and others.

I booked here because there was a special rate. I was pleased to find a large, clean room and very good Internet. While this hotel is a little further south than my work, I plan on making this hotel my home for as long as I am in McAllen. It will stay in my favorites in case I return.

Me and my husband got caught up in a business meeting and we had to stay at a random hotel nearby in Texas. So here we were at this place we thought might suit us. And it did indeed! Great place, absolutely gorgeous! Not only did they see to our needs but also provided us with lots of important info.... More

A good hotel, a little out of the way but quiet and spacious room with fridge and mcrowave and a small sofa. Continental breakfast is included and the property has a laundry facility and vending machines. We had two queen beds and lots of room to store our luggage and purchases. The pool is small but in the shade in... More

Rooms seem larger than usual with sofa/good reading light, coffee table, desk with direct cable connection as well as Wi-Fi, frig and microwave, good beds but use two flat sheets instead one flat and one fitted, clean, and well maintained. Rooms are quiet without tissue paper walls. Desk staff completely bi-lingual and cordial. Burger King and good convenience store within... More
