Think very upscale camping trip. There is no cell phone service & no television. You can sleep with the windows open (or turn on the window unit if you just can't stand the quiet.) We only spent one night at the Carrington Inn but the kids wanted to stay longer. We went to Mason to Topaz hunt and found the Carrington Inn on the internet-the kids liked it better than rock hunting. When we need a few days away from our B&B, we love to visit other B&Bs around the state and what a special place we found on the Llano River! Raye and David have created heaven on earth...and I don't even fish... although I was tempted to give it a try! We notice and appreciate the "little" things and Raye... more
