I like writing these while I'm still on the property. I don't know what an "LTO" is, but my neighbor is talking about them, and not even that loudly, but I can hear every word (she says "okay" & "alright" alot). I asked for only one thing when I checked in at 3:00 this morning - one thing: Quiet. I... more

What a wonderful surprise in Marshall, TX. A really nice hotel for $85 !! The room was spacious (1st floor room has extra-high ceilings) and very comfortable during my stay. The room was clean, the carpet clean, the bath fixtures clean, and the bed was SUPERB !! Even though this hotel is right on Interstate 20, I heard no road... more

What a nice surprise. We were only in Marshall for an overnight stop, but this Fairfield Inn was a real treat. The staff went above and beyond to help us in every way possible. The breakfast was one of the best we have had. Rooms were clean, beds great. Just a real treat overall. Highly recommend it and thank the... more

Clean and comfortable but front desk staff was not friendly or helpful with directions (to a cash machine). Hated the curtains which were black-out but did not close all the way ... there was a large gap where the curtain track stopped so all the light from the outside fixture came pouring in. (Their solution for not blocking the AC).... more

Stayed for free (using Marriott points) but would have been well worth the quoted price ($89). We were given a mini suite, though perhaps all rooms are like this. It had two flat screen TV's, mini fridge, microwave, desk, and DVD player. Granite counters and shower and a VERY comfy king size bed. Breakfast was amazing: waffles, oatmeal, biscuits and... more

Just spent two nights in this hotel and I was really impressed with the quality of the rooms. This is a first class operation. The rooms are clean, modern and have all the amenties that anyone would need for a terrific stay. It is also central to Jefferson and Caddo Lake, which are nice places to visit. The town of... more

Only a couple of days before I needed them, I was able to book 2 rooms for a Saturday night stay, but only because of the positive, previous posts by others here on Tripadvisor . Got a great rate of $79 + taxes = $89 on their web site. Facilities were reportedly only a year and a half old, and... more

Fairfield Inns in general are among Marriott's lower end hotels. However, this new Fairfield Inn & Suite was comparable to even some Marriott's I've stayed in. Spacious room & bathroom. Lovely bedding and shower head. Large flat screen TV & DVD player. Fridge & micro. And I did not stay in one of the "suites". Very happy. Excellent value. more

On 16th of January 2006, I spent one night at this hotel and it was so comfortable. The bed was all made up with down comforter and 4 pillows per bed. I had a room with 2 queen beds and it had a microwave and fridge. The desk clerk was nice and it was very quiet. I would go back... more
