Mona was so very gracious and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay at the Arcon. The main house is furnished and decorated with items from South America and Spain and if you ask Mrs. Mona, she will tell you the story behind every piece. An incredible treat in Marfa, TX.

We stayed at this B & B for a long weekend recently. The positives were: great location, charming exterior, plenty of clean towels and sheets, shampoo, blow dryer, a small kitchen. The negatives: there was no breakfast at our B & B because the owner was away, which we did not know until a day or two before arrival. There... More

My husband and I stayed here 1 night on a cross country road trip in the historic casita. The place is definitely funky, in feel and design. It could definitely use a detail clean in the bathroom and around the many knickknacks, but I felt the bed was clean and I slept soundly. We enjoyed the cafe table and chairs... More

I was really looking forward to staying at the casita; this place sounded funky and different. I reserved the back house weeks in advance and planned my trip around it. Less than 5 days before I was supposed to arrive, I get a call from the owner saying that some other guests are staying there that night, and there is... More

An unusual B & B with lots of personality. A lot like the Innkeeper. Great breakfast and most important pet friendly !!! Comfortable beds but not enough electric outlets. On the other hand it needs a good detailed cleaning Central location, easy to walk to the entire town. We would come back.

Rooms are clean staff super friendly breakfast is cooked fresh. Main lounge and dinning is filled with Spanish antiques and art a touch of old world culture in a minimalist desert. Best bargin in Marfa. Parking is no problem.

Stayed there with adult child and girlfriend. First time I have ever seen a shower stall with curtain on inside. Rooms were dirty, bathrooms were unsanitary. Accommodation changed when we arrived on high demand weekend to other "better" rooms. Classically "trained" Mona appeared in am for breakfast with grungy chef jacket that should have been burned, not washed. "Extras" from... More

Scary and not just because it may be haunted! I have confirmed sightings of dust bunnies, the ecto-skeletons of dead insects, lots of live spiders and loads of dust, dirt and human hair. I am used to toughing it. I like the five star experience but I also love the campfire under the open sky. This place was outside those... More

Best described as an "experience that is a must", we stayed for 6 days, only intended to be there for 2 or 3. Every day there was something else to see, an exhibit, a social gathering, a restaurant, an art gallery, and "Building 98" . People come from all over the world to see it, now I know why. There...
