My husband and I stayed at Hill Country Motel celebrating our 12th anniversary. There were not many motels available, or they were way out of our price range. I read reviews and was a little worried. I booked their only suite that they have. I was really satisfied with the room, it was not the Sheraton or Best Western, but... More

For those not familliar with Marble Falls, lodging fills up quickly on summer weekends and during special events and ocassions any time of year, and prices can be steep for a small town! We planned this trip rather last minute, and Hill Country Inn was the only place in town that had a room with two beds available. This was... More

When I checked in the staff was nice I got a room within five minutes and it was the best price hotel in town as far as I could tell. upon entering the room it had to be 95° inside I quickly turned on the air conditioner, but it took 30 to 45 minutes for the room to cool down... More

I can't give a low enough rating. First off let me say the only reason I stayed here was because every hotel was booked in town and I had to come for a funeral. The room was absolutely awful. The popcorn ceiling was literally falling off in chunks, the smoke alarm went off all night until I took it apart,... More

I wasn't expecting much; in town for a wedding, I just needed a bed for the night and it did deliver that much. Unfortunately, I learned in the morning, the shower provided hot water, it provided cold water, it did not provide warm water. I showered as best I could with a washcloth, but was unwilling to stick my head... More

My husband got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night and when he turned on the bathroom light the little buggers scattered. When we reported it to the attendant he didn't seem surprised, he just asked if there was one or more than one.

Poorly maintained. Reported 3 plumbing problems, including non-flush toilet. All fixed. No more hot waffles. Pretty much all carb breakfast plus fruit. Room has a musty smell until ac runs awhile. Carpet dark, light doesn't work in dark corner so chair may or may not be stained. Spreads are not laundered between guests. No wi-fi in room. $90 for this?... More

We decided to book a room late at night. Lets start with the goods... The air-conditioning was outstanding. we kept it at 68 degrees. The beds were soft and my kids said bouncy. We stayed in a 2nd floor room. The water pressure was great and didn't run out of HOT water, even after 4 people had showered. Cable Tv... More

Travelers have priorities, and bass fishermen are no different. For us, we have to be able to park the boat, get in and out of our room easily in the pre-dawn hours, and get some sleep. Safely. Hill Country Inn came close, but with definite caveats. Yes, we were able to back to boat into the last available space in... More

Stayed here because all other hotels for the formula one race in Austin were $1200/night+. I didn't expect much considering the small town and low prices but the rooms were dirty. Furniture was torn up with holes in the sitting chair. Bathroom tiles in the tub are very dirty. Walls are paper thin. The owner came by and asked if... More
