Heres the deal.. This is luchenbach. A special wrinkle in time. They are more likely to be pickin scales than checking their smart phones. The armadillo farm embraces the luchenbach vibe while providing a comfortable camping experience. You may need to back a little more carefully in order to be perfectly level because the spots aren't "wide pull throughs"..this is... More

We stayed at the Armadillo Farm this past weekend and had a great experience. It is by no means fancy but had everything we needed. Gay the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Since we had Bob, our 90 lb. dog, with us Gay went over her rules for pets but nothing seemed unreasonable. We will be repeat customers.

We stopped in to make our own judgement call. We heard about the owner.. The owner has mental issues. 1st - The campground looks like a trailer trash compound, Don't believe me, go see for yourself. The reviews that are positive, are from older, very old R.Vers. (visit/eat /sleep & go.....but what surprised us is all this drama from a... More

Stayed there since it was so close to Luckenbach. Had Friends come over to see the Cabin (which was made out of a Tool Shed) we were staying and she went Berserk! She was so afraid we were going to have someone else stay with us. (And what, Sleep on the Floor?) she we were NOT Allowed to have Visitors!... More

My first encounter with the proprietor was a little scary, Now I want to hug her, she's not mean , she is just a Texan... God Bless her and her Dog....We are known as the MILD HOGS Motorcycle gang. I am 70 and one of the youngest one in the group. This place has character like you would not believe.... More

after having one beer at Luckenbach (all day), I called it a nite and got a spot at the Armadillo Farm which is 600 feet away. It was a cool evening, a sandwich and coke at my picnic table to enjoy a quiet spot under the stars. the neighbors were friendly and invited my to a birthday party, thanks Jeff.... More

We stayed here for Octoberfest in the westy's place cottage. It was a fun experience and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean the cabin was. Perfect for a single or couple. We loved the fresh air and outdoorsy feel. The owner was very friendly and very helpful as to all the attractions in the area. We had the best... More
