I started reading the reviews when I found my old "Manager on Duty" namebadge from when I worked here when it was the Sheraton Four Points in the mid-1990's. The problem with this hotel is, and always has been, ownership that lacks the means or desire to invest in the property or its employees. It's a nice enough building in... More

Had an odor in my room that was never addressed when I reported it. Got back late to hotel to find it was still there but my daughter was asleep and I needed to put her to bed. Hair dryer broke, no water pressure and the managers were rude and argued that there wasn't a smell. Walmart is across the... More

This hotel is a disaster. The elevator is old and I was afraid that it could stop at anytime. The carpet is old and dirty. My key was never working, in a 8 days stay, I had to have my key changed 7 times ... But more, I have been awoken one night at 12.30 am by the reception desk... More

This hotel was close and convenient to the Civic Center that was our destination. The room was large and the A/C worked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and took care of any requests. The hotel is in need of refurbishing, it looks a little shabby, however we had no problems regarding cleanliness. The Atrium Restaurant serves a good breakfast... More

Stayed here with my wife for two days as the AC broke in our house and we thought we could redeem the points we have with Club Carlson. This is an old building close to differente restaurants, walmart (across the street), and gas stations....great location to access anything in the city but kinda creepy at night....I think the parking lot... I love the location, right off the Marsha Sharp freeway on Q. Our sleep number bed is broken, and the maid service isn't great: no styrofoam cups for coffee the second day, no condiment packets with creamer the second day, and the first day, our 1-cup coffee maker came with a four-cup packet of coffee. Huh? (Obviously coffee is important... More

I had to travel to Lubbock recently for a wedding that I was in. I made reservations at this hotel because it's where everyone related to the wedding was staying. I was staying with the bride the first evening, but made my own reservation for the second night (night of the wedding). I confirmed my solo reservation for Saturday night... More

I appreciated the fact that they let me check in wayyy early and even let me check out a few minutes late. Hotel is very dated but they are always friendly to me. You can usually stay at this hotel for the price of a one star.

From check in to check out our experience here was horrible. I booked a room asking for two doubles but because I'm a Club Carlson member, I was booked in a king bed room. I understand that they thought they were doing me a favor but if they had paid any attention to my reservations they would have seen that... More

Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. The only "nice" part about this hotel is the lobby. The rooms are flithly (particularly the bathtub). The service is horrible. Forget about sitting in the lobby or lounge area because the waitress will not even acknowledge that you are there. Be careful with the elevators. I thought I was going... More
