I have spent a week at the Koko and overall it wasnt that bad as far a old cheap hotels go. It isnt where I would take my wife to for a weekend getaway but for me while my Semi was in the shop for major repairs it was just fine. The staff are courtiuos and friendly, the small cafe... More

Well where do you start with the motel of such low means as the Koko Inn.... My truck needed repair and the cocoa in was the default Motel for Lubbock truck sales and repair... Checked in in the room was disgusting... So I asked for an upgrade or a better room I was willing to pay any price to get... More

This is the absolute WORST place. We paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1 - we seriously considered sleeping in our car. Our "non-smoking" room REEKED of smoke and was FILTHY dirty. Upon our arrival we found brown skids on the blanket, sheets and in the toilet. Outlets did not work - (unless you physically held the plug to... More

Cockroaches all over the place, cigaret smell, stinky floors, and stop counting... We booked a room in KoKo Inn because every other hotel in Lubbock was booked due to Texas Tech parents weekend. We paid a $100/nigh fare, so we didn't expect any luxuries, but we expected the minimum a hotel can offer: a clean room (at least). The first... More

We stayed in one of the rooms on the outside of the building. The rooms were nasty. Didn't keep the room vacuumed. The bench had tons of stains on it. Bathroom door was hard to open. Didn't feel real safe there. Paid over $130.00 for one night due to the college students coming back. That room was NOT worth that... More

It must have been lovely years ago. It is very worn now, and dirty. The no smoking rooms stink. Why don't they clean the filters in the A/C. There are a few people eating in the cafe but I think I will pass. Yes, the room has flies, the carpets are dirty and the knobs are off the cabinets. The... More

This place was great...about 5 decades ago. The staff was pretty friendly, and the inside atrium with pool and live vegetation was, um, interesting. But the room itself was one of the worst I've ever seen. Half the lights didn't work (which was probably a good thing), busted lampshades (but they didn't work anyway), mold and mildew in the shower,... More

We stayed here for move in weekend. Our first room had flies galore in the room. The room was a non-smoking room but you could not tell. The front of the dresser door was broke off and left in the corner. Our second room was just as bad. Under the bed was cigarette butts, a toothbrush, and other misc items.... More
