We stayed in one of the rooms on the outside of the building. The rooms were nasty. Didn't keep the room vacuumed. The bench had tons of stains on it. Bathroom door was hard to open. Didn't feel real safe there. Paid over $130.00 for one night due to the college students coming back. That room was NOT worth that... More

It must have been lovely years ago. It is very worn now, and dirty. The no smoking rooms stink. Why don't they clean the filters in the A/C. There are a few people eating in the cafe but I think I will pass. Yes, the room has flies, the carpets are dirty and the knobs are off the cabinets. The... More

This place was great...about 5 decades ago. The staff was pretty friendly, and the inside atrium with pool and live vegetation was, um, interesting. But the room itself was one of the worst I've ever seen. Half the lights didn't work (which was probably a good thing), busted lampshades (but they didn't work anyway), mold and mildew in the shower,... More

This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The pictures on the website are very deceiving!!!! When we checked in last night, we saw a totally different looking... More

We stayed here for move in weekend. Our first room had flies galore in the room. The room was a non-smoking room but you could not tell. The front of the dresser door was broke off and left in the corner. Our second room was just as bad. Under the bed was cigarette butts, a toothbrush, and other misc items.... More

So, I've read several of the reviews before I stayed here and for the most part I can say they are over exaggerated. We had a smoking room that was on the outside. If you rent a room from here I suggest getting a nonsmoking room because from what I have seen they are a lot nicer. I checked under... More

My uncle in law was nice enough to buy our family a hotel room at the Koko Inn for the weekend for a family reunion. I will never ever ever go back to this hotel. I did not feel safe. The area is terrible. The rooms are filthy. There were burns on the comforters. We did not sleep with them.... More

I am so sorry and surprised to read your review. This reunion has stayed with us for many, many years. The only complaint I received during the reunion was about the atrium being to hot, and it was. Our big unit on the roof was not keeping it cool, we are having it worked on. I am sorry about the... More

To: Phyllis Crable General Manager Where do I start? My husband made these reservations for us. He is a truck driver who had a route to Lubbock a couple times each week. Lubbock was one of his favorite stops. That was about eight or nine years ago. He loved staying at the KOKO Inn. Eight years ago we spent our... More

Had the misfortune of staying here with my mother, sister and two small nephews, and we were able to get adjoining rooms for the evening. My youngest nephew is crawling and we noticed the floor had tons of food particles, we asked the front desk attendant to have someone come vacuum, we were told that housekeeping was off for the... Give me a break! Why would anyone stay in the place described for 5 min. less an entire night? Freedom of speech is wonderful and should not be used for untruths. To have a problem and voice it is fine, but to write things that just are not true is wrong. More
