Stayed in an indoor room and it was clean and a decent size! I noticed someone rated the hotel as having see through curtains...there is an extra curtain you are supposed to pull in front of those. (Smart people) It wasn't loud, and the customer Service at the desk was excellent. Their breakfast is better than most ! I will... More

What a joke. The pictures they show you on the website are misleading. You can see straight through the curtains they have on their "indoor" rooms. Which btw you are not guaranteed when you get here even though they make it seem like that is what you are getting. The rooms are filthy. It's noisy. It doesn't exactly promote safety.... More

This is not the Holiday Inn! It was bought out by the Clarion. It would of been nice if they had told us that. Was there for the Beth Moore convention on July 11 & 12 2014. Our room was clean enough until I saw a couple of bugs! Yuck and bathroom could have been cleaner. Toilet handed was broken... More

We booked two rooms through priceline and it was a good place to stay for one night. Rooms were very small and the hotel seemed a bit outdated, but everything was clean. We got an excellent deal through Priceline, but would not want to pay the cost of booking directly through Holiday Inn.

This hotel's name has been changed to the Clarion Grand Park Hotel!!! It is no longer the Holiday Inn!!!!! I can't make a full review because my reservation is in September.I am giving them five stars only until I stay at this hotel and can make a full review.

We did this one through hotwire. First, we could not find the entrance. No sign saying where the lobby was located. All I could think of is what would the Hotel Impossible gentleman say concerning the entrance. It looked as if it was under construction. The staff although friendly was very robotic like, monotone. or even script rehearsed. Once we... More

First thing I noticed when entering my room the curtains were so filthy that I stopped by the door and turned the lights on, the windows were all scratched all over the glass, there was either caked dirt or grime all over the Window AC unit, the couch looked like it may have been some sort of mustard yellow, screaming... This hotel is a bit older, with some (even number) rooms opening to the outside and some (odd number) rooms opening to the inside of the facility. The front desk staff were very helpful, polite and pleasant. The breakfast buffet had all the basics and you could make your own Texas state-shaped waffle... great fun for the kids!

When I first checked in they gave me a room inside on the second floor. There was no easy way to move my luggage as the elevator was a long way away and I had to go up the stairs. They do have both interior and exterior rooms so I requested to switch to an exterior room on the bottom... More

The rooms are quite large and the beds are comfortable. There is a nice pool and a garden area in which to sit and talk. There is also a large atrium bar to have cocktails while winding down in the evenings. We stay in Lubbock several times a year and love staying here. Easy access to campus and also to... More
