The design of the hotel is amazing. The room I stayed in was very large, clean, and very well maintained. Staff was polite and professional. Rates during my weekend were excellent. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This is one gargantuan, old-style hotel with an enormous atrium with gardens and a pool. The front desk staff was cordial and accommodated a required room change. The pool made our first room damp and smelling of chemicals, although ever so slightly. The new room was much better. The bar staff was right on with a great attitude and informed... More

We stayed at this hotel because it has free breakfast and indoor pool. We only stayed one night and let me tell you, it was well worth it. The price is right, breakfast was really good, front desk staff was really friendly. The rooms are a nice size. The hotel is a little older but very clean. We would recommend... More

Thank you for reviewing your stay we certainly appreciate your business. As for cleanliness it is a large building to take care of but we have a great housekeeping staff. More

This is a very unique hotel. You can tell this place was 4 or 5 stars 20 years ago. It is a great set up. They have rooms that are accessible from either the inside lobby or outside where you can park in front of your room. They have a large breakfast area and a bar in the lobby area... More

Since checking in was at 3pm, and we had to be at the Texas Tech graduation by 3:15 to avoid parking and seating issues, that didn't work out. But after dinner and a graduation ceremony that was way too long! We were happy to find our stay wonderful! Our breakfast there, on Mother's Day AWESOME!!!!!!!

I apologize for the delays at check in we experienced a computer server failure and this greatly impacted the speed of service. I am glad the rest of your stay was better. More

Booked a room on Hotwire, so got a good rate, and the room itself was worth what we paid. However, when we checked in, the clerk told us all the Hotwire rooms were smoking rooms and that it would cost us an additional $20 to get a non-smoking room. Hotwire doesn't specify smoking/non-smoking status, but we have booked at least... More

We were looking for an indoor pool--and this hotel is overpriced for what you get. The staff (especially at breakfast) was grouchy, and everything in the hotel is outdated, dimly lit, and musty. There are much better places to stay in Lubbock. Keep looking!

you can tell the age of this hotel when staying , there are little hints here and there of its age. Certain things are broken and don't work while other things seem newer. All the gym equipment is old. I stayed with my mother and my two younger siblings. The rules here are way too lax , when we arrived... More

Book ahead as this is a convention center. Our room was large, on ground level, facing inward on a huge arboretum and fountain area. Our room was very clean as were all the other areas we observed. The night was very quiet and restful. The included free breakfast the next morning was excellent with omelets made to order. When I... More

I have stayed here on 3 occasions. The hotel is showing its age and could use a lot of updates. It seemed relatively clean and the reception desk ladies were friendly and efficient. This hotel does have room-service however on two of my stays when I called to order breakfast they were anything but helpful. I don't know if they... More
