I would rather sleep in my car, then at this hotel again. The room was dirty, tho I was told they had just cleaned it. There was bugs in the bathtub, and when I went to use a "clean" towel there was a LIVE roach on it. The lady in the office was overly rude. The remote for our room... more

Booked this motel since it was the only hotel available on a Tech game weekend. Motel is close (5-10 minute drive) to the Tech campus. Staff were friendly on checkin and checkout. 2 night weekend stay to visit a niece at University. Drive-up was an older motel, but room was a pleasant experience - 2 full beds, fridge and microwave, clean and a REAL non smoking room for a change! The motel is undergoing renovation and this is paying off, the pleasant lobby does an excellent continental breakfast each morning for free.... more

Although we stayed at Motor Inns of America by default as there was an unknown function at the University the weekend we wanted to stay that made finding a room a challenge, we found our stay at Motor Inns of America to be a pleasant experience. I booked a room at The Motor Inns of America in Lubbock, Texas during Family Weekend at Texas Tech University. It was close to the university and convenient to shopping.
