I'm a Marriott guy, and boy what a disappointment. The carpet in the hallway, walls in the hallway and room were filthy. When I checked in, the bathroom hadn't been swept and the toilet was stopped up. Little did I know that they don't even mop the floors here. They use an oversized lint roller to clean the floors. Not... more

Stayed here for free on points - since we stayed for free, I am a bit more lax in my review. We got a 2 BR suite here, which was ideal for 4 adults and one infant. The rooms had decent storage space and were just the right size for a 2 night stay. The kitchen had a dishwasher and... more

Facility is well maintained. It is clean and newer as they go. Downside was the small rooms and the old style tube TV's. WiFi worked fine. As far a breakfast goes, it was continental style. Rarely touched it since it was minimal. Staff very nice and helpful. more

TownePlace Suites in Lubbock was over all a pleasant stay. Check-In: The Lobby is undergoing MAJOR renovations. The check-in “desk” is literally a desk. You stand behind the person as he/she enters your reservation into the computer. A little strange. The exterior of the hotel appears pleasant. The check-in clerk (who I later found out was new) was friendly and... more

I've been waiting for an opportunity to rant about this, and the TownPlace Suites just opened the door for me. I travel a lot, and prefer Marriott or Hilton properties just for the points. I was put here - a good 10 minute drive from the Texas Tech campus, which was my ultimate destination. So many places nowadays have this... more

PASS THIS ONE UP FOR THE ARBOR INN NEXT DOOR! As a frequent traveler on government business, I try to book Marriott when possible. I have stayed in this property in excess of 20 times. (The property is showing wear and cleanness is becoming an issue as well) I confirmed my reservation with the hotel directly and told the reservationist... more

This hotel was new and clean but for more than one person it can get a little tight. Based on the website's description I guess I assumed too much on size. It would be good for one person with an extended stay. It does have a kitchen with all the appliances (Stovetop, Microway, fridge, DW, coffeemaker, toaster) and dishes, pots... more

This place is really nice and clean. The rooms had everything you need. A small kitchen, large closet, desk, outdoor pool. The breakfast downstairs had fresh fruit, make your own waffles(my husband loved these), cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, yogurt. The common areas were all very clean. The place has a really nice and homey feel. The staff was very friendly.... more

This is a wonderful place to stay! Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms. Has a smaller kitchen, which is great to have. Since its opening about two years ago, I have probably stayed a total of 10 nights here as my work takes me to Lubbock on a regular basis. Nice breakfast in the morning. Only drawback (not hotel's fault) is... more
