The Ashmore Inn is conveniently located on the Loop near shopping, restaurants, movie theatre and more. The public areas and guest room were clean. I love that this is a non-smoking hotel so there were no lingering bad odors. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful selection with eggs, saugsage, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy,... More

We stay at this hotel every time we come to Lubbock. It is close by where you can do some shopping, the mall is one street over. there is a Wal-Mart beside it, so if you need something you can walk to the Wal-Mart. Restaurants like Applebees, Cheddars, And Outback are also within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the... More

I stayed at the Ashmore Inn in their extended stay area for 5 weeks during a traveling therapy contract in Lubbock. My room was nice. There was a living area with a min kitchen, desk, and loveseat and chair. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice. Amy, the young lady who is over breakfast was wonderful! I... More

We were staying there for three nights and the overall quality was only good enough for a quick overnight and that was all. Definitely a cheaper end motel. We didn't select this hotel and wouldn't stay there again. Also, we would not recommend staying in the annex. We thought the outside door would be easy access. But, the key card... More

So we stayed here for the Kstate vs Tech game, the last home game for our beloved Raiders so most hotels in town were at capacity. We stayed here as a last resort. The front desk clerk was nice and polite, the hotel itself is kinda old and it smells musty but the bed is comfortable enough, Not the best... More

WE stayed here on our way to shop for a house in Oregon.........I called in advance to check and see if they use the heavy masking chemical deodorizers.....they didn't...excpet in the hallways. The rooms were large and updated......the place is an old Sheraton. The front desk was super friendly and helpful, they have a deal when you check-in for a... More

Only stay here if you want your car broken onto. I was the second victim on the same night to have my car broken into. The hotel staff didn't seem to care about the problem of theft. The key card readers don't work properly.

I was kept awake most of the night of the 8th and morning of the 9th because the heating and air unit in the room was making extremely loud noises (rattling). I called the front desk to complain and was told there was nothing they could do because there was no maintenance on site. I should not have to stay... More

Used to be one of Lubbock's greatest hotels for location, value, etc. In need of TLC -- bathroom grout needs immediate attention. Grounds need MUCH TLC --- all looking really tired and worn down. Front Desk check-in and check-out GREAT. Very nice lady in the breakfast room each morning and nice bar tender in the evenings. Offerings could be a... More

My mom and I recently took a girls trip to Lubbock to attend a concert. We had to book a hotel only a few weeks out and nearly everything was booked. We read reviews and found a vacancy at the decently reviewed Ashmore Inn. We were very pleasantly surprised--seeing as this was one of the few places with openings available.... More
