The hotel is not to bad and the breakfast served in the morning has a good variety. The staff is friendly, nice, and very helpful. The only thing that I did not like is that while I have a fridge in my room I did not have a microwave which I though was very strange because when I booked my... More

Stayed one night, booked ahead, thought all was set....we get there and receive our room keys, go up and looked at our room, maybe 20 min. And headed out for dinner. We return only to find that our room keys did not work. After many tries, husband goes to front desk to inquire about this problem.... Only to be told... More

Dear Sucell2014, Thank you for taking the time to review the Fairfield Inn Lubbock. Please accept my apologies for the mix up that occurred with your original room. I have spoken with my front desk staff to ensure that a similar situation does not occur in the future. Upon checkout it was actually a member of my front desk staff... More

Stayed for one night, the remodelling is almost complete and not a disruption during the evening or night. Beds great, breakfast selection varied and good quality. Our grandson enjoyed indoor pool after long day if travel. Staff excellent. FYI this hotel in close proximity to Residence Inn and Courtyard and in my opinion prices and value here, with the remoldel,... More

We booked this hotel in advance as we were visiting Tech, and just needed 2 rooms for one night. They told us it was being remodeled and construction was going on 8 am - 5 pm. No problem, right? It was the biggest mess I have ever seen. Amazed that it's open during this "remodeling".

nice hotel in a good area right off the loop in Lubbock -easy to find and get to when traveling. We stayed there as a lay over while returning home from a ski trip and found the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet the next morning was better than average and was well attended to by staff. overall a short,... More

We were able to grab the last room on the fly. While they were still refurbishing, it didn't impact our stay. Rooms were clean and standard sized. It seemed like a good place to stay and I had no concerns at all about the area. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I was a big fan of... More

I'm never the biggest fan of FI's because its a crap shoot on quality as opposed to the uniformity of a Courtyard. This hotel sadly proves that fact with a drab interior and semi run down rooms. That being said the staff was incredibly friendly and they make up for not having a pantry by providing free snacks which I... More

Stopped here after driving much longer than we had originally intended on our road trip. Arrived at 7:30Pm without a reservation, only 1 room left with king bed. Wanted a 2 bed room so Tasha called over to the Courtyard to see if they could accommodate us. They were fully booked. We were so tired, so we decided to take... More

Good value but would try to get a room that doesn't face the freeway. Road noise was louder than you would expect for this brand. The heating unit was also very loud and had a clicking noise. Looks like there are a few newer properties that may be a better option if the price was close.

It's not at all fancy but it's a nice place to stay in Lubbock. The beds were comfortable, the front desk clerk was helpful and the breakfast supervisor couldn't have been more pleasant. However I was disappointed the hotel has no on-site workout facilities - while the hotel has arrangements with a local gym, I didn't have that kind of... More
