nice hotel in a good area right off the loop in Lubbock -easy to find and get to when traveling. We stayed there as a lay over while returning home from a ski trip and found the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet the next morning was better than average and was well attended to by staff. overall a short,... More

We were able to grab the last room on the fly. While they were still refurbishing, it didn't impact our stay. Rooms were clean and standard sized. It seemed like a good place to stay and I had no concerns at all about the area. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I was a big fan of... More

I'm never the biggest fan of FI's because its a crap shoot on quality as opposed to the uniformity of a Courtyard. This hotel sadly proves that fact with a drab interior and semi run down rooms. That being said the staff was incredibly friendly and they make up for not having a pantry by providing free snacks which I... More

Stopped here after driving much longer than we had originally intended on our road trip. Arrived at 7:30Pm without a reservation, only 1 room left with king bed. Wanted a 2 bed room so Tasha called over to the Courtyard to see if they could accommodate us. They were fully booked. We were so tired, so we decided to take... More

Good value but would try to get a room that doesn't face the freeway. Road noise was louder than you would expect for this brand. The heating unit was also very loud and had a clicking noise. Looks like there are a few newer properties that may be a better option if the price was close.

It's not at all fancy but it's a nice place to stay in Lubbock. The beds were comfortable, the front desk clerk was helpful and the breakfast supervisor couldn't have been more pleasant. However I was disappointed the hotel has no on-site workout facilities - while the hotel has arrangements with a local gym, I didn't have that kind of... More

I've stayed here twice while passing through Lubbock, and I have never been disappointed. The location is great--right on the south Loop--and Marriott properties offer very consistent service and facilities. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast offers the typical motel fare--bananas, hot & cold cereals, boiled eggs, assorted breakfast breads, waffles, etc. It's... Nice mid range property. Friendly staff. Small lobby. Clean rooms with nice TV and a quiet mini-fridge, Comfortable bed. Good breakfast including eggs, sausages, oatmeal, waffles. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Small indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Free Wi-Fi. On opposite side of city from Texas Tech University, and also the airport. The city is small enough that it is... More

The Fairfield Inn in Lubbock, Texas is an average hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful with suggestions and directions. The room was "typical" Fairfield Inn, very spartan, but clean. The breakfast was fine and had the normal variety of food. It has easy access to downtown and there are several restaurants in the area. Good for an overnight... More

We thought our room was clean when we checked in, so were dismayed the next morning to find several bedbugs crawling in the pillows. My husband was bitten twice! When we notified the manager she immediately refunded the price of our room and gave us some extra points, but the memory lingers on! To add to our frustration, the maid... More
