Fabulous! Sums up our total authentic Texas experience! From the moment we were graciously greeted, the immaculate interior with such original Texas character to include the original well and unique rock fireplace (fossils & geological one of a kinds), extremely comfortable bed and off the charts scrumptious breakfasts I highly recommend this B&B. We entered as strangers and parted as... More

Jo & Christine are AMAZING hosts who define Texas hospitality. They have personally transformed and renovated an older property into a warm and welcoming Inn whilst retaining it's historic charm. There are beautifully preserved red rock retaining walls and foot thick artistically tasteful walls throughout this immaculately CLEAN Inn. They took care to heavily insulate the walls so you cannot... More

This is our second week long stay at the Gold Coat Inn. Located just outside Cedar Creek (near Leander) but close to shopping and restaurants both in Cedar Creek and Round Rock. Access to 183 into Austin. We enjoyed busy days in and around Austin, but returning to Gold Coat Inn was quiet and relaxing. Just next door is the... More

My beautiful wife and I spent the weekend at the Gold Coat Inn for our anniversary. We were met at the front door by owners Jo and Katherine, they are very warm and delightful. We stayed in the Nawlins room, since Mardi Gras was coming up, it was a terrific choice. The entire place has a warm, cozy feel, and... More

Our breakfast was delicious! A hidden jewel in Leander! They do serve on disposable plates and cups, but if you bring your own cup the coffee is free. The Cortez Tostada was yummy and the breakfast quesadilla was to die for. The portions were very generous.

We stayed here before and after our son's wedding. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. Clean and comfortable accomodations with a fantastic breakfast cooked for you each morning. They truly make you feel like family which greatly relieved the pre-wedding stress. It's definitely worth stopping for a weekend breakfast even if you are not staying at the Inn.... More

Excellent staff and service. Fast and delicious breakfast! The atmosphere is very cozy. I had the biscuits, eggs, and sausage. Everything was hot and fresh. I will definitely be going back for breakfast here on the weekends. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, they also have rooms on the property you... More

The Gold Coat Inn is a beautiful, inviting B&B in the country, but close enough to Austin to get to area attractions quickly. We stayed in the N'Awlins Room, which is lovely with a comfortable bed. The clawfoot tub with shower sprayer is unique and fun to master! The price of the room, which is very reasonable for the Austin... More

The owners are warm and welcoming and anxious to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The breakfast (included) was delicious, innovative, and plentiful. The beds were very comfortable with nice views of the pasture outside- very serene. There is a small gift shop behind the kitchen with unique and locally produced items. We lucked into a wonderful Christmas celebration... More
