Definitely needs some renovation. Prices are ok I guess, but if you're just coming for the Sisters you can do better in Kerrville and be more central to the whole area. Where to start? Management/ owners were pretty nice. Cabins were cute. Decorated nice inside with rustic feel. Bed was ok. A/C and heater worked great. Cabins still need some... More

Thank you for your input. This weekend of your visit was during the Big Spring Break Weekend and we do have a little different group of guests during this weekend due to the Big Music Fest down the road. Although they were all great and I enjoyed all of them! We have owned this property for a year now and... More

Quaint, comfortable; an enjoyable stay. Centrally located on the main street, but still quiet. Management is great to work with, quick to respong & resolve any issues. Good rates. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights the 1st weekend of October, as we came down here to ride the 3 sisters etc. Excellent location. My wife called Dallas befor we arrived and she was nice enough to put a 12 pack on ice for us and left it in our room, ( A BIG THANK YOU TO DALLAS)! We stayed... More

My husband and I stayed here recently for a short trip to Garner SP. We didn't want to camp and were on a budget. The new owners here are very nice and helpful. The town of Leakey is quaint and there are lots of shops and a few good eateries. This was needed as it rained most of our stay... More

By the previous owners responses, it looks like they are trying. Our cabin was ok, just ok. AC worked well, it was mostly clean and no bugs. Cabins are not perfect, but better than staying in a tent. And I will say again, AC worked! Bathroom door knob was missing parts and did not close or lock. Coffee pot took... More

Although Leakey is one of the hottest spot to vacation for many people ,this particular place did not meet our expectations ,but I guess is fair for the price, not meant to be negative I know the new owners are working hard to bring back the property in place , I do suggest them focus on the maintains of the... I appreciate your input and value each and every one of my customers views of my Inn & Cabins. Although 3 months is not a lot of time to accomplish all of the great things I have in mind for this wonderful place, I am forced to focus on big things first. There was a lot of room for improvement... More

When we arrived the check in was very easy since the keys were in envelops on the wall by the front door. When I got to my cabin it had not been cleaned. I went back to the front desk and they came and cleaned the room within 30 minutes. The place is very quiet which was great after a... More

Brad and Dallas Hart, the new owners of the Historic Leakey Inn, told me they have come to own this place recently and are working hard to turn this place around, and they are the nicest people with the coolest kids! There is no "manager" on-site, because the owners themselves run this place! The grounds are now cleaned up, not... More
