Staying at La Posada is like stepping back into a slower, gentler time. The property is well maintained and recently refurbished, but the ambiance remains that of more gentler times. The landscaping and pool offer a resort feel, and the quietness of the rooms lends to the feeling of being the only guest. On a recent trip, the only discordant... More

Hotel is an older hotel that has been updated fairly well but has maintain the old world feel. Staff is always helpful and the location is the best in town. I stay here frequently on business and wouldn't stay anywhere else in town.

La Posada's staff: courteous and they extend themselves to add to your comfort. Easy parking, a historic well-preserved building. Lovely rooms, brilliant pool, excellent restaurant & bar. A must for and visitor to Laredo.

Good hotel not too expensive. Looks a bit like Melrose Place. Rooms are ok just a bit dark. Two swimmingpools, fitness and parking facilities. In the heart of Lredo next to the bridge to Mexico. Would recommend this place.

I had stayed at La Posada many times but stopped going to Laredo. I was very pleasantly surprised to stay there again because I see that they have kept their great service. I had a very big corner room on the second floor overlooking the river and just across the border. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool... More

We paid a lot ($140) a night for our room over Memorial Day weekend. We had to be in Laredo on business. So, what the heck, it's a holiday weekend and we brought our wives and families with us. I have to say that the hotel is very aged. It would be a laughing stock in most hospitality-based cities. But... More

I have stayed at La Posada Hotel many times in the last 10 years. Each time is amazing and I highly recommend this historic hotel to anybody visiting Laredo. They have 2 onsite museums, two amazing restaurants, 2 pools (one is a heated pool with a jacuzzi on the side) and it also has a swim-up bar! The room I... More

On May 3 a guest and I stayed in a room for the handicap. It served all our needs. The hotel staff especially Victor, were very accommodating. The food at the restaurant in the main lobby was great. The help I received in loading and unloading a handicap person was not only helpful, but done in a way as to make... More
