This is the second time we stayed at The Antlers, the first time being in 2000. What we love most about this place is its authentique architecture dating from 1865, and the charm of the hotel and its cabins (we stayed both times in Plum East). The grounds are tree-covered, and there is a rowboat and canoe on the nearby... More

Great meal, nice ambiance, friendly menu. Service was fast and food was hot. Great locale for the history buff!! No hints, you have to come see for yourself, if you dare. Perfect for singles, couples or groups. A return trip is always possible. Would highly recommend.

My hubby and I stayed here one night in the Red Caboose celebrating our two-year wedding anniversary. A++ on the experience and originality! Friendly staff and super-friendly inn kitty, BabyDoll. When we checked in, we were given a map of the property and we planned to go visit the river and explore the Hoover Log Cabin the next morning. We... More

My girlfriend booked this hotel for us a few weeks ago and we had a great time! Her family and friends were staying in a rental only ten minutes away but we really loved staying at the Antlers. We stayed in the Victorian Suite, which is on the second floor of the main hotel. It was a very large suite,... More

We stayed at the Antlers while getting ready to pick up the Grand sons, the Lake View Cabin has two bedrooms and baths, a kitchenette, dining room and living room. Furniture is mix of antiques and comfortable leather chairs and couches. Rear deck has wooden bench and rockers, and there is a BBQ grill if you need it. Short walk... More

We've stayed at the Antlers a number of times over the last several years. As always, a very nice and relaxing environment on the shores of Lake LBJ. We couldn't get a caboose but did get the River Train Cabin. A rustic cabin just a minutes walk from the lake. The cabin was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Very quiet... More

A real gem here. Staff was very friendly. Nice property to walk around and unwind. This was a stopover on a whim but if we are ever back in the area this is where we will stay. Fun to drive the ranch roads around the county.

I always thought that the Antlers was only a hotel with some converted rail cars and depot but upon further investigation, they have some very nice cottages and cabins on what is actually a very expansive property. It is perfect for family reunions or just a quiet weekend for 2. It has a restaurant (Grand Central Café) next to the... More
