Was in town on business, and prefer rooms with smoking. This is a decent hotel, but I'm not sure if it should carry the HI name. Decent rooms, outdoor entry to rooms. Seemed like a converted Super 8. Price was a steal though. more

We stayed here for 2 weeks and while the hotel itself is older and not really a typical HI Express, the staff was great. The room was small, and like others have said, some sort of other hotel prior to being named a HI Express. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, eggs/cheese omelets, bacon or sausage. The room was quiet and that's the only good comment I have. I like Holiday Inn but this one is terrible. One side of the bed was hard while the other side was lumpy and I almost sunk in. I decided to stay here because, for the most part, Holiday Inn Expresses are clean, have amenities, and decent breakfasts. This one is much older. Around 12 years old. This is a run of the mill Holiday Inn Express. There is nothing spectacular about it as far as the room and decor are concerned.
