We booked through Priceline two nights and were ASTONISHED how nice this hotel was. Old folks friendly!!!!! Staff was extreemly nice, restaurant was fantastic ($$$), our room was immaculate and updateded. Very quiet surroundings and convenient to downtown. Think "old style Vegas" but across from Walmart. Most of the motels are off the interstate but this one is off the... More

I'm not sure why the poor reviews. I was a little nervous but our room was really nice and spacious enough. It was in the updated section, I was told. The rooms were equipped with a larger than normal hotel/motel fridge, a microwave, coffee pot with good coffee, iron and hair dryer. The bathtub drain was a little slow and... More

First off they say you can arrive early and find things to do around the hotel, well you can if you want to hang out at the bar or you travel in your swimsuit. Second the front desk is rude as is most of the staff. We had a "coupon" for a free continental breakfast or $4.00 off the buffet,... More

We recently stayed at Inn of the Hills for one night. It is a vintage motor lodge, which reminded me of those long, Summer car vacations when I was a kid. I was able to book one of the rooms in the "casa," which is a detached structure in the middle of the courtyard next to the rock pool. The... More

Large rooms are very well maintained. Comfortable. Beautiful pool and spacious seating outside. We did not try the restaurant but if you want a snack, they deliver to the pool. The staff was wonderful and helpful with our stay. Excellent pillows for a pillow fight with the kids!

Stayed here because of a Group on. Disappointing. Dining room dirty and outdated. Toilet dirty in our room. Safety bolt in our room was off its screws. Pool was closed on a holiday weekend. We stayed here years ago and my husband stayed here as a kid. This hotel has lost its Glory and luxury. We understand why they resorted... More

Older hotel but very clean and neat. Beautiful pool and courtyard. Breakfast was good. Good location to travel around the Hill Country. Close to restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We have enjoyed Inn of the Hills in the past, but cannot recommend it to anyone. Our room needed updating and the shower curtain was moldy. Rooms close to ours had a big party going on until the wee hours and the noise was horrible. Calls to the front office went unheeded. The sign in front of resort advertised Seafood... More

Thank you for your feedback. We certainly apologize for your unpleasant experiences on your last stay at the Inn. We did have a family reunion that was using the Casa hospitality room along with the attached Casa guest rooms, and yes, they did get loud. We did try to settle them, then finally sent the police to quiet them. The... More

My wife and I have stayed ten times at Inn of the Hills, previous stays have been good, this one started out to be another good stay, but turned terrible quickly. We arrived around 1pm, we pre-registered and came back at 2pm and room was ready. The room was a king bed in the Casa, what we didn't know was... More

I certainly understand your disappointment with the noise carrying from the Casa Hospitality room. Our practice is to rent the guest rooms adjacent to the Casa Hospitality room when renting the room to a group; unfortunately, upon investigating, a party member who had a Casa, canceled their room reservation a few days prior, and the room automatically went into available... The staff went out of their way to be helpful to our group. The pool on the banks of the river was a peaceful break from the pool in the hotel courtyard. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices even without upgrading to the meat items.
