Room has very strong, overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke. They have tried to upgrade this older, overpriced hotel. Small pool, and breakfast is in in the also small check in office. Could use a good cleaning. Will never stay at this hotel or any other hotel within this franchise.

I traveled alone from Pensacola to Phoenix with 2 big dogs last fall. I had planned to stop in San Antonio but I decided to get past the city and the traffic and the noise (one of my dogs is very nervous) and find a quiet little motel in the next town. Kerrville is about 60 miles west of San... More

Needed a cheap place to stay for the night. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Front desk is friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. We've stayed at other America's best values but this one exceeded my expectations.

We were a group of 6 families visited the hill country over the weekend and booked a night with this hotel with lot of skepticism. Guess what, we were pleasantly surprised with the rooms that were provided to us and all the 6 families enjoyed our stay. it was very clean and the room had a fridge and a microwave.... More

This hotel is very run-down but I could tell there was effort in updating. I always check for bedbugs in hotels and I noticed there were nice mattress protectors on our mattress. But there was peeling paint, dirty carpet, stained walls. We had a non-smoking room but there was still an odor, and it seemed like a lot of the... More

Staff was indifferent, room hadn't been detail cleaned in a while. Debris/food on the floor near the fridge. Mold/dirty fridge and freezer. Layers of dust around A/C & window. Tiny breakfast area to match tiny breakfast offering. Old motel could be made better with a little attention. Paid way to much, half what I paid would have been too much.

The room was ok, but the toilet was very dirty (floor, bathtub, basically everything). And to make it worse, the toilet was broken, like literally broken - the base where it is attached to the floor had a 6-7 inch big crack, the screw was hanging out, and when you sit on the toilet, it felt like you would fall... I just called this property and was hung up on not once, but twice! When people are in the Hospitality business, they need to take a crash course on being hospitable. First of all, you NEVER just hang up on someone. I find this extremely rude on their part and for that reason, I would never consider staying at this... More

Much better than the one in Huntsville. Better choice at breakfast, rooms cleaner, better coffee in the coffee maker. ABV won't set the world alight for their quality, but if you're on a budget, they aren't that bad.

Booked 2 Qu non-smoking thru ABVI. Reviews weren't excellence but indicated clean & comfortable. We don't require swank and frills, just clean & comfortable. When arrived, just seeing the place made us second guess our booking. I think maybe the manager checked us in. He was nice and cordial, and said our reservation was prepaid, but we hadn't booked it... More
