Very well planned and very nice staff, both in front desk and at the restaurant. We had som great food there and their salad & soup bar is to die for!! I had a entree from the menu and the salads bar was then included in my meal! Nice rooms with much space and comfortable beds. We was unlucky to... More

Impressive foyer comfortable seating areas. Fantastic brunch,an array of starters incl peel and eat, mimosas included, prime rib, or made to order omlettes. The desserts range from a huge variety of cheesecake and freshly baked pies.

Spent the weekend. Good value for the money. Front desk was very helpful and always smiling. Service was quick. Room is as you would expect for a midpriced hotel in a small town, nothing fancy, but clean. Beds comfortable. A lot of people were taking advantage of the pool. Nice bar with patio on site. Located in town.

This is a great place to stay. a big shout out to James and to Stan for outstanding front desk service. Great bar, wonderful food, nice quiet room. If you are looking for a boutique hotel, you will be disappointed. This hotel is a throwback to the days when service and friendliness meant more than marble showers and fruity drinks.... More

When looking online, this place looked like a charming ranch. When we got there we were not expecting to drive up to a hotel across the street from a Lowes. The room was cold and very outdated. There was no counter space in the bathroom, so getting ready was a bit of a challenge. The first night we decided to... More

This hotel is older we wife and I initially booked it on the recommendation of family as I like hunting and that's the atmosphere of the hotel. The rate special of 30 percent off on a 3 night stay made it more inviting. It was an excellent stay the rooms were in good shape clean comfortable and hot water. The... More

Well, this hotel is super nice looking while you drive by, with the massive Christmas tree in the lobby and Christmas lights everywhere, but that is where it ends. The service at the front lobby is terrible, although there was no one waiting it took forever check-in. I went there 2 other times and same story. One time there was... More

Have stayed here quite a few times over the years, either as a way stop to West Texas or as a final getaway destination. I cannot see that it has changed a lot over the years. It is a little frayed around the edges and showing its age but so am I. Rooms are pretty plain but very spacious. Others... More

Great location right off the main road. Easy access to Fredricksburg. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas (a great background for family pictures!). Breakfast buffet was terrific and reasonably priced. The bartender was a bit unfriendly, but the bar overall was nice. A definite plus for our family that they allow dogs. The bed was a tad uncomfortable, but... More
