I was here for a conference and this resort hotel is a great place to have a convention The standard room is roomy but smelled of past smokers. It has a small tub and the toilet was right up against the wall. The bed was comfortable. You would have a better breakfast at the IHOP a few blocks away. I... More

This is our second time to bring our fellowship to the Y O Ranch Hotel and Conference Center in Kerrville, Texas. The facility, though a bit dated, was clean and functional. The service was wonderful and the property was conveniently located with lots of surrounding attractions. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Food was good but not fantastic... More

This place was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The room large and clean. The food at the restaurant was very good breakfast and dinner. Everyone was friendly. We had a good time having a few drinks at the bar. No reason to leave the hotel at all but driving around the hill country is beautiful.

The YO has wonderful Texas charm with a vintage feel. We were there for a convention and enjoyed the quiet room and the pool/hot tub area. Unfortunately, the bar still allows smoking, so we were not able to enjoy an after dinner drink in it, but we discovered the pool area had a small bar. Even though you could not... More

This looks like a great place to have a convention for all the stuffed critters, fur covered chairs, and museum grade artifacts including saddles, rifles, pistols, arrowheads, and sculptures. The standard room is roomy, but just has a small, old tub with a shower curtain. The bed was better than it looked - saggy, that is. I would just advise... More

The hotel is nice and has a very western rustic feel to it. The conference rooms are big and the resturant on site has some tasty items. I've enjoyed all my trips to the Y O. They have a bar that has live bands on the weekend. The guest rooms are nice.

We got a room with access to the pool area. The room was musty smelling. We had to run the a/c at a colder temperature than we would have liked to keep the smell from getting worse. We had continued trouble with our room key...it wouldn't work. We traded it three different times, and were asked each time if we... More

The three of us came to this hotel fully expecting it to look as old as it is due to several reviews saying it needed updating. Seems like those people aren't interested in preserving history. You walk into an impressive lobby that wowed my boyfriend's 19 year old daughter. We could tell things are very much up-to-date, but the style... More

My room was clean and quiet. If my room had been around the pool I might have something different to say as a large group of quite loud people partied down out there until around midnight with no interference from the staff. The rooms are a bit dated with some amenities just tossed in there like the fridge that was... More

Arrived to find blood on the blanket and bedspread, went to tell the front desk, did not seem to bother them in the least. Rude staff. It was a really rude awakening since I had been told by others that it was a nice clean hotel.
