We have visited the Buckhorn the last two years on Independence Day. The pools are great and the parking facilities are wonderful with both 30 amp and 50 amp, water and sewer and cable TV at all spots. The fireworks show on the 4th of July is an added bonus this weekend. Additionally there are lots of fun Independence Day... More

We stayed in Cottage C for two nights in June. It is very updated inside. The tile was clean and new, the furniture appeared fairly new as well. The kitchenette was clean and we used the microwave, coffee maker, and bathed the baby in the sink with no problems. The fridge was very tidy and roomy. The bed in the... More

We only stayed one night but we were impressed and enjoyed our selves. Very green grass and manicured like a golf course. Yes, its close to the interstate but we had no problems with the noise. Our spot was by the creek, so we enjoyed the sounds and the views. In Texas it is pricey but still a good value... More

This is a true Resort. Both family and adult pools, lots of events in their large wood burning fireplace event hall, large exercise building, large off leash dog park, play area for kids, fishing in the stream, clean restrooms and showers, nice outdoor grill, some shaded sites, casita's to lease for class A rigs. On the down side, it was... More

This is a very nice clean park. Paved lots with grass and lots of room, you don't fill crowded. Has a great dog park by a creek and also a fenced in dog area. This is the best we've been to. Lots of grass and enough area to get everyone exercised. They just need to fix internet service not enough... More

Thank you for your review. We know there are many choices of places to stay and really appreciate you staying with us. We are currently working on upgrading our wireless internet system. No doubt about it, BLR is a first class RV park. All paved roads and sites, manicured lawn, nicely treed. Really a nice place to walk around after a long day on the road. But the wifi system is very poor which is a problem because Verizon service is also poor in this area so our aircard does not work... More

Buckhorn Lake Resort is just about one of the best campgrounds we've found in Texas, to date. It's beautiful grounds, immaculate facilities and spacious sites are only part of the picture. From the minute you arrive, you'll find the friendly staff willing to assist in any way possible to make your stay a good one. They have a spacious dog... More

The ONLY reason I am not giving this a 5 star is because we had a lot of highway noise that kept us awake but could very well have been our assigned spot and we arrived late. We were very impressed by how immaculate this resort was. Grass yards that are impeccable, a lighted hook-up area and concrete pad picnic... More

One of the better RV parks we've stayed in for level pads, well-maintained sites. Community facilities are excellent - very nice kitchen, great stage and meeting hall. Pools are clean and well-maintained. Location is close to I-10 and the freeway noise is constant - pretty loud with lots of trucks - need a loud fan or the A/C on to... More

My wife, myself and our two granddaughters stayed in Cottage C the week of June 11th through June 14th. We were told check in was at 3:00 pm, but we could check in around noonish. We loved the layout of the cottage. We especially liked the patio on the back overlooking a pond with fish swimming around. When we arrived... More
