My family & I were on an Octoberfest trip to Fredericksburg & stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. EVERY time we used our key cards, we had trouble.....either we weren't pulling "up" on the handle or they had to be reset! Linen supplies were overwhelmed by heavy occupancy. One day they took all our towels and left us with a single hand towel. I am a coach for a collegiate athletic team and we attended an Olympic qualification match in Kerrville. We found our rooms at Big Texas Inn to be bright and comfortable, and the public areas were clean and inviting. Several of the students took advantage of the WI FI connection to do homework in the evenings..a nice benefit for them!... more
