Ms. Barbara welcomed us throughout our stay. She is a lovely woman that provides service that is lacking in today's world. She took time to stop and say hello and answer questions about the area. The room we stayed in was the Challenge. It was a girls weekend and that room worked perfectly fine. The beds were comfortable and we... More

Awesome Inn! Very relaxing and close enough to Boardwalk and restaurants to walk. Can walk everywhere and not drive the entire time, if desired. Winery is also awesome! Great place to get away. Birthday wine was an Great touch! Will be returning.

Wonderful hospitality and darling cottage with much ambiance both inside and outside. Everything we needed for a comfortable one-night stay was provided by our charming hostess, Barbara. Delightful porch facing the garden area was so peaceful and relaxing. Will defnitely stay again for a longer period.

From the time we arrived (we were late so she gave specific instructions) to the Inn we felt very welcomed. We were celebrating a birthday so when we walked into our Cottage which was the Flying Cloud we had a personalized bottle of wine waiting with some cake. The cottage was very cozy, easy to operate everything inside and the... More

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. The location of the inn was very convenient to The Boardwalk and area dining. We were able to walk everywhere we went. The tour of the winery was very nice and informative. Barbara was very sweet and helpful and made us feel at home. We... More

My wife and I stayed here on Christmas Eve and through Christmas. Despite the holiday season, Barbara was attentive as ever, greeting us when we checked in and visiting with us the day after Christmas. Of course, her famous breakfast baked goods were as tasty as ever. We stayed in the Mont Blanc cottage which was a perfect size with... More

We had a romantic get-away here and enjoyed it. I prefer more open and airy lodging when traveling as a family, but some situations require cosy. My husband and I stayed in the Ellissa cottage which is a redone fishing cabin. The furnishings are antiques and my husband said it reminded him of his grandmother's. The special decorative touches are... More

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. The place was easy to find. The owners are easy-going down to earth and very flexible. The cottages are equipped with the necessities for R&R and there's even WiFi for those who need to mix in some business with pleasure. The surrounding area was very quiet and the sound of the water fountain in the courtyard... More

"The Clipper House Inn,Clear Creek Winery and Tabella Bistro" Kemah,Tx is a great example of why we need to get down to the East Texas Gulf Coast, take a break from chain lodging, and see what a great Inn such as the Clipper House has to offer that the chains can not.We did just this and found a gem in... In a word....'MAGICAL'...From the time we checked in, the wine tasting and cheese, INCREDIBLE shower for two, to the time we checked out was 'MAGICAL'....sitting outside looking up at the moon and stars, chatting with other guests added to the magic.
