My husband and I had a great, one night stay in the Lavendar Room which is located in the carriage house. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch relaxing with a glass of wine watching spring come alive. This place has a great room for serving breakfast,... More

We've stayed at Captain's Castle twice now. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Jefferson, now, and we've stayed at several of the Bed and Breakfasts, Inns, and the historic hotels. The rooms are spacious, yet cozy, and the home is simply beautiful! The breakfasts are hearty and delicious - this trip, my favorite was Angie's Pecan Praline French Toast.... More

I almost hate not to give this B&B a better rating, because I did like the owners and the bed I slept on was wonderful. But there were too many other little things that bothered me. You walk through a kitchen hallway to get to the outside rooms and the kitchen was a total disaster! Kind of scary since we... More

We stayed in the "Sara" room of the main house!! Beautifully decorated and furnished!! The chandeliers in the home are so pretty!! We felt right at home with Angie and Bill as our host and hostess!! Breakfast was amazing with apple bread and butter as the final touch!! Angie has bread made up that you can purchase!! We definitely brought... More

We just got through staying two days in Sara's room at the Captain's Castle and I've got a few things to tell you. The room was very clean and accomodating. The breakfasts were outstanding. The hospitality that Bill and Angie gave was first class. You get to meet interesting people. Also, the B & B is being upgraded which tells... More

As we relaxed in the "Sarah" room in the main house, I told my husband it seemed as if we had stepped back in time. The rooms are beautiful. Bill and Angie are so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. This was our first trip to a B&B in Jefferson and we can't wait to stay at the Captain's... More

We stayed at the Captain's Castle B & B and if all you are interested in is a place to sleep and great food, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for anything else, then this is not the place for you. Our room had no cups to drink out of. No coffee pot (we had... More

Just returned from a small military reunion headquartered at Captain's Castle and must say it was a most enjoyable experience. Bill and Angie (our hosts) were friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. The food and accomodations were excellent, comfortable, and relaxing. Our hosts were informative about the many tours, and sights to be explored. A really refreshing experience in... More
