American Airlines sends a lot of stranded DFW passengers here, giving them discounted rates, if not free rooms. I got a discounted rate (missing the flight was my fault) and wound up on the curb waiting for the shuttle at about 10pm. 40 minutes or so later, the shuttle finally came, and I could see why it had taken so... more

Stayed here before our flight to Hawaii on May 15. Rooms are large with old and very uncomfortable king size beds. Be sure to check all the extra fees this motel charges "$4.99 daily safe fee" just remember to refuse before you pay your bill! Staff was very friendly. Daily breakfast area in the front lobby is great but the... more

I booked three rooms for five nights for myself and the college students I was advising for a convention at the Gaylord Texan Resort. The previous trip advisor reviews were spot on- no pun intended about the clear, cleaning machine oil in the king bed linens. One of my students, a student studying hospitality with much hotel experience, explained that... more

My husband and I stayed here for a business trip. We were there for 3 nights. CHECK IN...Upon check in, we were given a bag with bottled water and a couple of small snack items which was a nice gesture. I remembered reading somewhere about the safe fees and asked them to remove the charge and I would not use... more

It's a super 8 motel, so I was not expecting neither a luxurious hotel or fancy stuff. That's the reason why I give 3 stars, not because it is bad, but because if you compare it to fantastic expensive hotels, 3 stars over 5 is the maximum it can get. I got what I was expecting for a good price. Rooms... more

Things you need to know. The Super 8 NORTH is not affiliated with the Super 8 SOUTH which has a complementary phone ad inside the DFW terminal. Make note of your terminal & gate, walk outside to ground transportation and use the complimentary phone on the concrete pillars. As of Feb the hotel uses a third party shuttle RC Shuttle... more

WHAT A JOKE! What a joke! The hotel was clean by Super 8 standards and the staff was extremely couteous. The problem was the bill. I was charged $4.99 for a "miscellaneous" charge. When I asked what it was for, I was told it was for the SAFE in the room. What safe? I never even saw a safe. Let... more

Hi there world travelers, I have traveled from Dallas to Cancun at the end of September and for convenience reasons I have booked myself to Super8 Irving DWF Airport hotel from the Hotels own website. The main reason I have chosen this hotel was it was near the airport and they offered courtesy van to pick you up and drop... more

My daughter and I drove halfway across the country staying in three hotels of similar price and hotel class, but all from different chains. Our criteria in choosing hotels online were that they were safe, convenient, clean, and a good value. Out of the 3 hotels, this one was not the best nor was it the worst. It's best feature... more

Looked online for a motel just to do a touch-n-go between flying in/out of DFW over the course of a few short days. We figured that we had always had good luck w/Super 8's before that this would be a safe bet. Wrong. First night we stayed...room was bad...no make that awful. Dingy, smoke-smelling non-smoking room, carpet was old/repaired/patched, coffee... more
