Stayed here one night for a Microsoft Technical Center meeting. Check in was painless - they offer you bottled water at check in and check out. The room was very clean. They had Splenda in the coffee preparation box. I was very tired, but didn't sleep too well - too much on my mind. A mostly uneventful stay, which is... More

We stayed at this location for one night for a wedding. The hotel seemed to be fairly new. The service at the front door all the way to check out was exceptional and very accommodating. The location is nice as most rooms look out over the small lake and waterway that flows through parts of the city. There are gondola... More

The hotel itself was excellent, as was the room. The bed on the other hand was terrible. It is the worst that I have slept on at a Marriott property. I spent over 100 nights in hotels in the past year and this was the worst bed by far. I went out and bought some foam to put on the... More

This is another great Marriott propoerty in a more business oriented section of town. Weekend rates are a bit less than weekday There's minimal traffic in the area. Of course you'll have to drive a bit further to atractions and restaurants, but the trade off for the quiet, low bustle atmosphere was worth it to me. The property has a... More

Very nice hotel and easy to get to from downtown. Spacious rooms and nice amenities made this stay enjoyable. Great Concierge Lounge with very attentive staff. Walking path around the lake adjacent to the hotel is a good option over working out in the hotel gym. A little bit of a drive from downtown, but worth the extra time and... More

I am a long time Marriott customer and am surprised by the wear and tear on this property. The furniture in my room was so badly scuffed, scratched and dented I was surprised it hadn't been taken out of commission long ago. The friendly staff certainly lives up to the Marriott brand name, but the furniture does not. Moreover, there... More

This hotel was really nice to stay in for a conference. Good amenities, but not very close to shops or restaurants. Needed a cab to get anywhere at about $20 one way. Watch for prices. We paid $141/night for the conference rate, but if you stayed another night, without prior reservations, it was only $90/night.

I have been coming to this Marriott for over 10 years now. The rooms are comfortable, extra large and upkeep is meticulous. The view over the "lake" is pleasant and the food and service are exemplary. The concierge lounge has had the same evening lady all this time (name withheld), she is always cheerful and genuinely wants to help out.... More

I used this hotel on a business trip. The hotel was about $35 away from DFW airport. Located in essentially a business area. The only thing to see is the Mustangs statue located nearby - seen in about 10 minutes! The hotel was a good example of a Marriott with a great bed and pillows. Breakfast was good. I would... More

Have been staying here for a while on business. I originally really liked the property due its proximity to my work location in Irving, however, proximity is the only reason I stay here now (that and I am a points hoarder with Platinum status). Overall the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean - the showers are never hot. The... More
