I had seen the reviews and was somewhat apprehensive about choosing this hotel but once I arrived and spoke with the clerk she made me feel so comfortable. I recently traveled to Huntsville with my husband and two children and stayed at the Guesthouse Inn. The clerks were so helpful and very sweet. They pointed out some local attractions and gave me some helpful tips on what would be fun for the kids. I would recommend that anyone with a family stay there. The girl at the desk... more
I would like to thank you for your positive comments we are working hard to turn this place around and make it comfortable for all of our guest.
We stayed here thinking that it was fairly nice & wasn't very packed. We ran to the store to get something, & the young clerk called the police, & told them that we left our kids here alone since 5 AM!!!! They were not nice to our kids, it was crazy!!! This place was a disaster. First we were "tricked" into thinking it was a Holiday Inn Express which it turns out they moved a year before we arrived. The room was filthy (think---DEAD ROACHES!), stains on sheets, wall paper peeling, carpet stains, etc. The A/C did NOT WORK!!!! The TELEPHONE did NOT WORK!!! It was horrible to say the least.... more
We just bought the hotel on 8/13/09 and plan to renovate completely I am so sorry you had a bad experience and hope that you will come back to give us another try. We have very strict standards and want all of our guest to feel free to voice there opinions but also to give us a chance to correct...
