My husband and I LOVE this place! We have been several times and our next trip there will be in August. It is a hidden jewel in the beautiful Hill Country. The service is amazing, they have 2 pools that are beautifully laid out and the villas are gorgeous. If you are looking for a romantic weekend or family fun,... More

We won a raffle that gave us two nights here, and we loved it. The one-bedroom suite was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The resort is a short ride to Kerrville and an easy ride to any number of nearby Hill Country towns including Fredericksburg, Bandera, etc. Kerrville is one of the larger small towns in the area, with many... Enjoyed our stay in a standard 2 bedroom villa over the thanksgiving holiday. What made the resort however (and my rating) was our group as opposed to the 'resort' experience itself. I would not likely stay here again, particularly at their rates (over $450/night) which seem way out of market for what it is (was not that impressed with the... More

Three night - 4 day stay in the Texas Hill Country in Hunt Texas was well worth it when it comes to what Stablewood Springs Resort has to offer, well appointed 2 bed room villa, wonderful pool, hiking, biking and fishing. You then have full access to the river should you want this as part of you holiday. The check-in... More

We stayed here for two nights with friends/family. The property is amazing- beautiful views, stocked tanks for great fishing, abundant wildlife, and an incredible pool. We absolutely loved our three bedroom villa. It was almost completely empty- we hardly saw anyone else during our stay. Our only complaint was that no one informed us that the restaurant was going to... More

Yes, my title is an oxymoron because the resort is run by the most disenchanted people I've come across at any resort. (the maintenance man was terrific). So we check in and unload our bags. No wine opener. Not to worry! A hotel representative will come over with a $2 wine opener that is more valuable to her than making... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful anniversary here one weekend. It was the best of just being together, whether we were sitting out on the balcony enjoying nature, breakfast or just reading. The kitchen was wonderful with Pottery Barn dishes, wine glasses and all the basic necessities. Comfortable bed and living area. Took a long hike on the trail... More

This was a beautiful resort - It's just my husand and I so I just got the one room but it was so large and spacious and the decor is really nice and suited us well. We had a private balcony (all of the rooms do) and all of the rooms have litte refridgerators, complimentary snacks and water, great coffee... More

We stayed in a one bedroom and it was perfect. Front office staff was nice. Great pool with a small water slide and amazing views. Our room was clean with well appointed amenities. The views go on for miles! This is really a wonderful place and so close to the summer camps in the area. We will return!

Great Place. it's clean and nicely decorated. Very private and secluded. It's a gated community. The property is across the street from Guadalupe river and sits on a hill. Lots of places to hike and bike. The only problem I personally have is my allergic reaction to cedar trees.
