We stayed here one evening while traveling to Austin to visit our son. Picked this hotel because we saw it was dog friendly and were traveling with our schnauzer. The staff was helpful. Rooms were typical for La Quinta hotels. Easy on/off from interstate. Was exactly what we were looking for.

Good location near City Centre. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gave average review for these. Good but nothing speacial Definitely a workers hotel with lot of construction guys. It is a sign when the front desk clerk is on the phone with the police when you walk in...... Lobby and entry very dirty..true signs of bad management. Second floor walkways... More

I feel bad writing such a negative review, but I really need to tell our story so that nobody ever stays here again. The first room we were assigned was not cleaned at all even though our check-in was at 3 pm, the beds were unmade, etc. so the staff moved us to another room. This room at least had... More

Before coming here I read all the reviews, and let's just say that I was so concerned about staying here do to all the bad reviews. My experience was great. To the front desk. They made sure I didn't need anything. Breakfast was great and had Alot to chose from. Overall the reviews were not my opinion. I had a... More

The process to check in was quick and without any issues. When we got into our room the surrounding area was creepy, filthy and the structure looked like it was going to fall apart. The floor of the catwalk was like walking on gravel and coming loose. The rooms looked like they were finished in the late 60's and smelled... More

We stayed here during our nearby house remodel for one night. The room was not clean and smelled of mildew. There were transient looking people hanging around the less than well lighted parking lot. The immediate area of the hotel has been in decline for years. The topper of all: Channel 11 news called to ask me for an interview... More

I booked this as a stopover on our trip between San Antonio and the Gulf Coast. Bad mistake. This place may well qualify as the worst hotel in Texas. Here are things we found in our first 30 minutes here: No wi-fi (as advertised) No hot water. Only lukewarm at 11pm. Filth. Everywhere. Like it had never been swept. Mildew... More
