Had a business conference in Houston, got a good deal in the Hyatt. Upgraded the business package with wifi and breakfast. Cancelled breakfast for one day -> worked. The bar is always crowded and they have good drinks, personal is friendly and helpfull. Room was clean and good size.

I stayed at the Houston Hyatt Regency for three nights for a business conference. The conference organizers chose the hotel. Hyatt Hotels tend to be clean, comfortable, efficient and boring. This one was no exception. It's a classic 1970's elevator atrium style with 20+ stories of rooms surrounding a soaring atrium. At one end are see-through glass elevators. Each floor... More

Very nice staff, concierge was super useful and very friendly. The restaurant at the top is very nice it spin and do a full turn every 60 min, a lil expensive for the food and nothing else than seafood Very clean room , nice view from the 17th floor. Cons. The parking is $15 if you self park, and you... More

I stayed over LDW with the hundreds of guests in town for the LSU/WIS game although I had no idea of the event. Upon arrival around 530pm, my room wasn't ready (check in is at 3pm). I left my number up at the front desk for them to call me, she said about 30 mins. 45 mins had passed and... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. First, allow me to apologize that your stay did not live up to your expectations. As you stated, check-in time at our hotel is 3pm; because rooms are guaranteed at that point, I was displeased to learn that you had to wait for your room. I will use this situation as a... More

I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Houston on a number of occasions, typically making use of a Priceline name-your-own-price deal. Each time, the rooms are clean, upscale, and beds fabulously comfortable. Plenty to offer in the lobby for snacks, drinks, or a full meal!

we stayed here for a football game. the hotel was pretty much average for a downtown business type hotel nice sized room. the bed wasnt real comfortable though. in addition internet was $9.95 a day,a bottle of water in the room was $3.50. i know that's not uncommon for a hotel but its still ridiculous. that in itself is a... 2 night stay here for the Labor Day weekend; we were in town for the LSU/Wisconsin football game. Every staff person was exceptionally friendly and efficient. As mentioned in other reviews, the sound from the lobby does travel up, but we did not hear it in our room. Wandered the tunnels for a while on Friday, and it's an easy... More

Was in town to see the Astros and thought the Hyatt Regency would be my old reliable - and in most cases it was! The decor is striking - I guess everything is bigger and better in Texas after all. Pros were the professional check-in and the free shuttle to Minute Maid Park. Cons were the average - at best... More

I have stayed at the hotel a few times over the past 18 months, while it is handy for downtown and is directly connected to the tunnel system which have been the main reasons for choosing the hotel. it's not one I would recomend.... No, it's not the multiple shades of brown or vertigo inducing interior that has driven me... More
