Got a great rate online for a weekend, online check in so got the key from the machine, pool on 8th floor and no bar or food, didn't eat here (yet) restaurant a bit pricey and planty of good restaurants around here, self parked across the street for half the valet fee :-) Overall a very nice and updated hotel.

We stated one night at the Hyatt Regency and frankly, it was one night too many. We got there fairly late only to find a convention in full flow. As the centre of this hotel is hollow with all rooms looking in, the sound bounced off the concrete balcony and despite being on the 28th floor, we could hear all... More

I stayed at this property several times before. The staff have always been very friendly and professional. Tricia was the super star this trip, spend a long time on the phone helping me with my room choices. Despite the large number of guests, valet parking, check in and bell service was very quick. I'll have to admit the upgraded suite... More

Was in Houston for a meeting held that the Hyatt. My second stay at this property. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The place was kept up nicely. The only complaint I have is with the valet parking. What a mess. There is no organization to it. You are required to stand on a small sidewalk breathing car exhaust... More

I arrived on a Friday night for a business trip and had a quick efficient checkin. All the staff that greeted me were incredibly polite and friendly. The room was decorated in a modern masculine decor. I liked the layout- the king room was angled by the window which I think made the noise from the atrium less noticeable however... More

I just got back from working a big show in Houston, TX over the weekend and we stayed in the Hyatt. First thing I noticed that the staff outside and also the staff cleaning the rooms have no desire to have the guests come back. Lets start with the room: I have noticed that there was a dish for the... More

Arrived and had an efficient check-in. Had a king sized room with a nice view of downtown. The bathroom was very spacious as was the room. The bed was plush and made for a good sleep. Also the guest services desk was a great and helped me with anything that I needed during my stay. I ate at Shulas for... More

This Hyatt feels very much designed for the male business traveler. It is blocky and dark, inside and out, with all neutral and brown colors and a cologne aroma throughout. Two big issues: The bizarre design (interior courtyard the height of a cathedral) really carries noise from the bars and restaurants on the ground floor. And I say this having... More

Great location, excellent service, friendly staff, good clean room, shuttle to ballgame... very satisfying experience. Only drawbacks: paying for Internet (that is being addressed at the moment) and fridge in room... which we declined as it was not at all critical to us.

Arrived to a double room, when I asked for a king, they upgraded me to the top floor. The check-in experience could not be better. Very pleasant front desk person. Room was nice, a little bigger than the other floors, but you are not missing anything if you're on the other 19 floors. There is no executive floor. Went to... More
