Nice, comfortable hotel right in the center of downtown Houston. The lobby bar was nice and the serving staff helpful and friendly. Food was also very good. The gym, although a bit small and claustrophobic, had good cardio equipment. Pool looked nice but some kind of lobby bar would have made it perfect.

This hotel is in a great location, and is really nice. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and all the staff are very helpful. Breakfast was nice, but the buffet was a little cold. Also the wifi was a little hit and miss on the standard package.

I had a great stay here on business. The bed was super comfortable - loved the pillows. The room was clean and quiet. Good food & friendly staff at the hotel bar in the lobby. I had some tacos and they were excellent. I thought the service was great. I'd stay here again if I needed a downtown location, but... More

1. My room smelled like body odor when I first arrived. Having traveled to large hotels in large cities, I know this happens. The housekeeping staff is working very hard to get a lot of rooms cleaned and turned over. I'm sure it is a workout and body odor is naturally a part of that. But after a day of... More

Located in the heart of Houston and close to museums, street festivals, and nightlife. Parking is a bit pricey but that's the cost of being downtown. All local sites are a short taxi drive away. The restaurants are great with huge portion sizes.

I stayed here a few weeks ago on business travel. Thankfully, this Hyatt has government rate rooms available, which made it quite a bargain. VERY nice rooms, with comfortable king-sized bed, sofa, and additional seating. I prefer listening to music over watching TV, and was pleasantly surprised by the deluxe, easy to use radio/alarm clock, which had good reception and... More

Stay here if you're on business in downtown Houston. Great service. I had a mix up with my reservation. The registration desk person (Jess) fixed everything quickly and professionally. She was great. Room was clean. Bed good. Quite. The lobby has a good buzz. Valet quick and friendly. I paid $198 including all taxes.

The Houston Hyatt is a reall fun hotel. Rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, beautiful atrium lobby, great bar. Looks very busy, many people at the lobby, lots of "action" going on. Yet, quiet rooms, comfortable bed and mattress. Very clean!!! Breafast is ok, not more, a bit crowded in morning "rush hour" but didn't disturb me too much. I enjoyed... More

This is a great full service hotel located in the heart of downtown. I am in Houston for business frequently and this location is ideal. The staff is incredibly friendly and useful. On my most recent stay they acknowledged my status level and automatically asked if I wanted the late checkout. The breakfast buffet is nice, but pricey if not... More
