Wonderful area to stay. It is located in the heart of the city. Excellent restaurants and helpful service. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Good place to stay if you want to go see an Astros game, go to the convention center, Discovery Green or to a play at the Hobby Center.

We stayed at the Hyatt this past weekend, and I would have given the hotel a 4 because even though it was a mad house, everyone at the hotel was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and spacious, but the water pressure was horrible as was the electric current, that was an unusual one for me.

Great for a couple of days with business and leisure. Went to the Astros vs. Yankees game and the hotel kindly provided free shuttle to and from the match. In fact, they provide free shuttle within the downtown area which indeed is very convenient. For shopping, the Gallaria is just 20 bucks away by cab. The room, breakfast and service... More

The stay was nice and comfortable. The reason we'll be back is because the waitress Mrs. Flor, made an impact during our stay. We went to breakfast buffet and she was extremely nice and provided outstanding customer service. The food was delicious and fresh (and you could also order specially made for you waffles, pancakes & omelettes).

We are here to go watch Houston/Yankee game and so is our NYC accent. People are so lovely helpful and friendly. Sheila the front desk concierge gave us places to go where to eat and how to get there as we sight see the city. She is a gem. Knowledgable with true Southern manners. Hotel has terrific restaurants in and... More

The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast buffet was extremely well done, with many choices, including omelettes to order at your table. I did not dine at Shula's (the same room as used for the breakfast buffet, and possibly lunch as well). However, the hallway and room carpeting are REALLY showing their age, as is the... More

Outstanding service and great place to do your business. I enjoyed the food and everybody smiled and spoke to you like they were a family. I recommend this hotel to any person looking for a great place to stay.

I have been in many hotels, on business and pleasure, and this place was one of the best. When I asked, they said it had been remodeled around 2010, both the rooms and the lobbies. I was really impressed. The staff's questioning led me to believe that they really wanted to satisfy my needs and make sure I was happy.... More

Stayed here for a music convention and the it was a very pleasant two nights. The rooms were spacious and they accommodated us with adjoining rooms. Can't complain with Starbucks brewed coffee in the rooms with coffee maker. Einstein Bagels in downstairs for breakfast, and Shula's steakhouse is available for dinner. Plus, many other eateries outside of the hotel within... More

This hotel is very much an average conference hotel. Tons of youth groups were there when I was there -- and the hotel can accommodate them. It's huge. I don't understand the comments about poor service. That wasn't my experience at all. Everyone was very friendly. At check-in, I was asked if I'd like a higher or lower floor as... More
