This hotel is well maintained and the rooms are adequately appointed. The staff is friendly and the rooms are well cleaned and stocked. The location is central and there are convenient restaurants in and around the hotel. The best thing about the Hyatt is that it is exactly the way they present it in the pictures. We truly enjoyed our... More

We travelled from Austin and stayed here last weekend for the Houston Restaurant's Week. The location is great and we can actually walk to the restaurant in downtown. Irene, one of the upper managers, made sure my two toddler girls enjoyed their stay and we were taken good care of. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the private lounge, and... More

As a previous review said, first impression definitely had the WOW factor, beautiful lobby with the elevators that are running visible up and down . Fast and friendly checkin, I had a smoking room on the 7th floor (no haters please ) I should have known better... Despite the air purifier in the room it smelled like an ashtray ...... More

Traveled to Houston to visit the Johnson Space Center and Minute Maid Park and decided on this hotel as the price we paid was unbeatable. First off the hotel was awesome from an architectural standpoint similar to the Luxor in Las Vegas. All the doors to the rooms faced the open atrium with was 30 floors high. The elevators were... First impression the hotel is magnificent. Shulas steak house so it must be top drawer. We were there to see a baseball game at Minutemaid field. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the game. The room was nice but wifi had to be purchased. Really? Room was nice. Went o the pool which is on the 6th floor, it... More

I stayed at the Hyatt for six nights for work and enjoyed the stay. The room service and housekeeping staff were responsive, prompt, and excellent. I upgraded to the Pure hypoallergenic room and the air quality and cleanliness were noticeably better. There was less dust on surfaces and the room smelled fresher. This is kind of odd to me -... I forgot my toiletry bag at home and rather than look for a nearby convenience store, I decided to take my chances and ask guest services for the items I needed. They really impressed me! I received several disposable razors, tooth brushes, toothpaste, deodorant and shaving cream after making a simple request and I just thought that was above and... More

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location for many attractions. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The valet was quick and courteous. I will stay at this hotel anytime I'm in Houston. Walking distance to many good restaurants and nice clubs. Cab ride to the ballpark was only $6. All in all nice place to stay.

The hotel is nice and modern, very comfortable. But all of the rooms face the open center of the hotel, where there is a bar on the ground floor. The noise coming from this bar, which includes singing past midnight, kept us up for the whole week we were there. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this has... More

I stayed at this hotel many times, sometimes two weeks in a row, on business. Service is good and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I also like the room service menu (including healthy options), the restaurants and, to balance things out, the gym and proximity to Downtown parks. I initially chose this hotel due to its location (close to... More
